These socks have enough cushioning to support my feet while jogging and biking, but not so much that they make my shoes feel too small. They are perfect!

I hike with Team In Training -- this is my 2nd year. For cold weather hikes I use Smartwool medium hiking socks. I have no problems with blisters. I do wear a size small even though the size chart recommends medium. (With a small, the sock never bunches up anywhere.) This last May, I hiked in the Grand Canyon and needed a lighter sock and tried out this PhD outdoor light mini -- terrific! No blisters!

Got these in San Fran at the sock shop in the Haight...my cotton socks were giving me blisters and the salesperson suggested these. I thought she was crazy but man was she right. These are perfect for walking all day like at a flea market or going for a hike. They're amazing. A little expensive but totally worth the price. I will never underestimate the importance of a quality sock. They are so comfortable I can wear them all day and even to bed all night. They don't move around like other socks and don't make your feet sweaty or smelly. They are just the best.

I bought these socks to wear around the house. I wanted something a little warmer than my regular cotton socks, but something that my feet wouldn't sweat in like slippers. I'm really happy with them. I would definitely buy them again.

Smartwool socks are just plain comfy! The height of this style is my favorite, long enough to stay up, and doesn't leave a "ring around my leg." Soon to be the only sock brand in my drawer!

Great socks. A fellow trail runner recently introduced me to wool socks, and these fit the task! Wool is best! Roomy in the toes, soft material that snuggles the feet. Cool "brown" trail color too, with a feminine flair. Love them!
