Best socks I've found for blister prevention. I've ran in thin Smartwool socks in the heat and humidity of an east coast summer, and in a cool Colorado winter. They beat technical running socks for moisture and odor control. If your foot size is medium and running shoe size is large, either size will work but the large will be more comfortable. I think the smaller size will wear out too quickly.

Nice idea, Smartwool and toe-sock for Barefoot experience shoes, such as Merrell's Trail Glove or Vibram's Five Fingers. Unfortunately, at least with the pairs I've had to try out, they don't hold up. Three weeks of off and on (2-3 days of wear) and one running/hiking trip to Garden of the Gods and I've holes in both of my longest toes on the socks. Epic fail. Now, perhaps it was materials, but there's not a good answer right now for me telling people spending this much on these things is a good deal. Comfortable they are. Fit well, they did. Hold up? Not really.
