These socks are great! I like that they are sleek and do not go up to the top of the foot. They can be worn with lower topped shoes. The socks stay on my feet without slipping - however - I do wear them inside out, so as not to feel the stitching. The sad thing is that I tried to order some in the size M for our daughter and they were no longer in stock.

SmartWool is that: smart. It's warm in winter and cool in summer. Merino is the king of wool; there is nothing finer. If you care about your feet and want to feel good all day, wear SmartWool. These little slippies are perfect inside your little flats you would normally wear with nothing, but they up the comfort level immeasurably. Take a look at the inside of your shoe. Does that really look comfortable? It's not meant to be; that's why we have socks. But we sometimes don't like the look of a sock, or perhaps your shoe won't accommodate the bulk of a sock. No matter. These sockies are thin enough to fit yet still feel substantial enough that you don't feel all the lumps inside your shoes. Wash them in cold without softener for the best of the merino. Also, hang them to dry instead of throwing them in the dry. They will shrink a little bit. The package will tell you it's okay to dry, but don't do it unless the socks are actually a little bit too big for you. "Dry low" just gets too hot in the average home machine, and these socks are too precious. Hang them on your lingerie rack, over a hanger, on the towel rod, or just lay them out on top of the dryer. Don't complain about the price. Your feet are worth it. And, by the way, I'm still wearing the first pair of SmartWools I bought 15 years ago. Try that with a bargain pair.

I bought these to go under some flats I bought at Zappos. They are still visible when I have the shoes on but if the shoes and the socks are the same color, nobody can tell your wearing them. Very comfy too.

Love the color. They definitely make my summer shoes more comfy; but they do slip off my back heel more often that I like.

These are the first no-show socks I've tried that don't slip off my heel and end up bunched under my foot (I'm a size 7, and ordered the medium). They stay put and are very comfortable.

I love these socks. I hate the way my feet feel in shoes without socks and this is the perfect solution. Some I have tried seem to get tighter or pinch my toe nails the longer I wear them. These do not do that. They are also just like they say "cool in the summer and warm in winter."

These are a great idea, but they never stayed on. I tried two different sizes and they both slipped off at the heel. Back they went.

If you want to wear them with ballet flats, order down a size. I ordered according to their size info, and they weren't at all sleuthy. You could see them at the heel if I adjusted them back to hide them at the front, but you could see them in front if you pulled them forward to hide them in the back. I kept them because I could wear them hidden in my Converse slips, but they were useless with ballet flats.

Smartwool socks are in general the best socks I have ever worn. Comfortable, not itchy, keep your feet free of odor and sweating - they are the best! And these secret sleuth socks are the best no-show socks for all of those reasons, plus they don't slide off my feet! I highly recommend them.

These don't stay on my feet at all. They come off at the back and roll up under my feet. The fabric is nice, but they just don't stay on. What a bummer. I usually really like Smartwool products.

I just bought these to wear with heels at the office. Unfortunately, as is the case with most of these types of socks, they show with just about every heel I have. If I arrange them just so, they're okay, but hardly sleuth. The real problem was when I put on the second of the 3-pair pack. Just one day of wear and a hole found its way in the bottom of the sock. Needless to say, I was very unhappy with the quality and will not be buying again.

I am glad I ordered these in large. My shoe size is 10.5 2A. This size fits better than any other I have tried, but it does slip off often.

Great sock! These socks fit nice and snug so they don't slip off your feet. They have a low profile so they are not visible with ballet flats. They feel very soft on your feet!

Great sock. Wool keeps feet comfortable and dry. Socks are lightweight. I have been wearing these with French Sole flats and they only show a little. Would love to see more variety from Smartwool that could be worn to work.

I bought these socks for a new pair of flats I got thinking they will add comfort, Wrong! The socks just slip right off my heel when I walk. These socks are very thick with good quality but not for any flats. I was very disappointed
