I got these for my son to wear under his baseball socks. Even though we live in Alabama, high school baseball starts in January, and it is COLD and, worse, HUMID. My son HATES for his feet to be cold and wet. These socks are good quality, fit well and will not be bulky under his baseball socks. They have wool in them, but are machine washable and can be dried. We'll have to wait til January to see if his feet stay warmer and dryer. Based on quality, I am thinking his piggies will be much happier. They are very pricey, so I hope they are worth it.
