Probably my favorite all around sock. Not too thick or too thin. Short enough to wear with tennis shoes, but just tall enough for a mid cut work boot. I didn't think I would like a wool sock in the summer but I was wrong. I still prefer a cotton t-shirt but wool socks have less odor and my feet seem dryer at the end of a hot day than with cotton. These socks are high quality and worth the price.

I like these socks a lot. I've been wearing them in near-freezing weather here in Oregon, along with my minimalist Teva Nilch shoes. The yellow accents cheer me up whenever I look at my feet. Very comfortable and warm socks. Sort of spendy, but worth the money.

Since their primary ingredient, New Zealand Merino wool, is a sustainable resource that comes from happy free-roaming sheep, SmartWool® is able to produce exceptionally breathable, natural and renewable socks. Partnering with their New Zealand suppliers, they were able to forge a healthier path for their growers, the Merino sheep used and their environment in which they live. The Zque™ program combines the superior comfort and performance attributes of New Zealand Merino fiber with an accreditation process to ensure environmental, social and economic sustainability, and animal welfare. Zque™ growers are compliant with the New Zealand Resource Management Act (1991) which establishes rules to protect the environment. SmartWool® has worked hard to give their customers peace of mind, and they have the socks to prove it.

Best, most comfortable albeit most expensive, sock I've ever used. Nice color scheme. Zero issues thus far. Rotating between 3 pair and have found no abnormal wear. Performs as advertised. Very happy.
Brands I'd also recommend: New Balance Minimus (road and trail)

These are fabulous! They feel supportive with just the right amount of cushioning. My feet always stay dry, too. They are perfect for running and I like the mini height. They are great if you do not want a full crew but also do not like the lower cut socks that always slide down. There is not much to look at, beign a bland color, but then I do not need that in running socks.
