I absolutely LOVE this skirt! I typically wear a medium in Nike or other running apparel, but I wasn't sure about this brand so I bought a large. I think I would have been better off with a M, so go ahead and order your regular size. Although the inside of the short (specifically the pad) looks hilarious, it is actually very comfortable. I love the length of the skirt (it covers the widest area of the thigh), and the shorts have a little rubber along the bottom, so they never ride up. I will definitely be ordering another pair!

I was excited to receive this item, but found that the bike padding was way too bulky, and the flare of the skirt was wider than appeared on the website (which was not flattering on me).

The shorts fit well and stay in place, and the skirt looks great (I already bought a 2nd one because I bike so much). I don't like the way regular padded biker shorts look when you get off the bike (my butt is big anyway, so I don't need that extra padding making it look bigger), but the skirt hides that and just looks darn good!

Don't be deceived by the picture views of this skort! I almost didn't buy it because I thought the padding was going to be hot pink and visible when I was on my bike! No! the padding is inside and has to be turned inside out to see. This skort was so comfortable on a recent long, hot ride. Bike shorts would have been unsightly when stopping for lunch on my ride and regular shorts would have been uncomfortable and wrinkled on a 50 mile trip. I felt cool and neat despite the heat. That being said, they are expensive and that is an impediment to many people. If you can afford them--go for it. I wear a size 6 in most things, but small fit perfectly. Even when I was more size 8 I think I could have worn small.

Love it! Just a comfy as my Pearl Izumi shorts. Now I want a skirt to wear over those. Even if I weighed 100 lbs. I would still have thunder thighs.

I'm an avid triathlete who is just starting to get into more social cycling, which is why I purchased this skirt. The skirt completely hikes the chamois, so is perfect for strolling around towns along cycling routes. The entire piece moves and stretches well, so I have no issues cycling w/it on, even in a tucked aero position, I don't feel any sort of restriction. Great bike shorts and have zero complaints thus far. As for sizing, I'm 5'2 at 120 lbs and purchased a small. I have v.thick thighs from so much cycling, but the rest of me is v.lean. The small fits my thighs well but is several inches too big in the waist. For now, I can make the skirt work, but I will likely add a drawstring as it ages. If you also have a trim waist but have little legs, I would recommend sizing down.
