I have an older style Vera Bradley diaper bag and was getting frustrated with trying to find what I needed in the "black hole" of the main compartment. It seemed like I was needing to empty the entire bag to find what I was looking for so I was on the search for a better diaper bag. Enter the Skip Hop Studio vs. the Skip Hop Versa. I have a 14 month old and 4 yr old twins and needed a diaper bag big enough to hold diapers/wipes/change of clothes etc for a baby AND sippy cups/toys/snacks for three children. The Studio and Versa hold about the same amount of gear. The Studio technically has 3 more pockets (2 tiny pockets located on the interior "ends" of the bag which are big enough to hold a tube of diaper cream or small bottle of Purell- Convenient, but not a deal breaker-and an outer snap blanket holder which is useless for me at this point due to my children's ages). The Studio is quite roomy and I loved all of the organization that comes with the pockets. Between the two, I ended up keeping the Versa because of several reasons. 1) the Versa has only one shoulder strap which eliminates the possibility of one strap slipping off the shoulder (this always seems to happen to me) 2) The shoulder strap can be extended to wear across the body or shortened to wear over the shoulder 3) When comparing the two with all diaper bag items inside, the Versa felt lighter. The Studio seemed to dig into my shoulder with it full of baby gear. Bottom line, they both hold a massive amount of gear with easy access to items without having to empty the entire bag. The Verso just seemed a bit more versatile and user friendly to me.

I have been on a constant quest for the perfect diaper bag since my first child was born. He is now 7. I also have a 3.5 yr old and 2 yr old. I've owned many diaper bags, including Coach and this bag is by far my favorite. Granted, I've only been using it for about a month but I haven't stumbled across any issues yet. I love all the pockets! My kids are out of the baby stage so I'm not carrying multiple changes of clothes, burpies, bottles, formula etc., but I find this bag to be roomy enough for what I like to carry, yet it's not bulky. I keep the changing pad, diapers, a pullup or two, spare socks for everyone, my first aid kit, crayons, pad of paper, hairbrush, wallet, wipes container, toys, granola bars and sippy cups on the sides. It's stylish and light, I love the zip closer and the fact that it doesn't completely unzip and come off track (time saver!) and it doesn't slip off my shoulder (a problem I had with my last bag). I had also ordered a Vera Bradley bag when I ordered this one and that went back when I saw how perfect this one was for me. Enjoy!

What a stylish and practical diaper bag! I have been carrying mine around for nearly two years, and despite some reviews, mine has held up well. There are so many compartments; five inside, two zipped pockets on the outside, and two insulated holders on the side perfect for bottles or sippy cups. It is roomy enough for overnight trips or for parents that like to pack for every scenario imaginable. It goes in the wash nicely if it has taken a dirty beating. I have been so happy with this purchase that I cannot recommend it enough! The only thing I can think of to make it better would be to attach a shoulder strap for super easy carry. Despite all the love I have for this bag, I am actually putting it away for retirement as my child has grown up a bit and his necessitates have dropped down to just some wipes and a few diapers for our daily trips. I am moving on to another Skip Hop product (Pronto Changer) and expect that this next product will make me happy as well!

Love the Pewter Dot. So versatile. Love the outside pockets for easy access to things like sippy cups, hand sanitizer, snacks. Like the wide design and inner pockets which make things easy to find. Would love, love it if it had a matching crossbody strap. Would have also preferred a darker color changing pad and matching insulated bottle bag.
I'd also recommend: OiOi, Kalencom

I purchased the Black Studio bag and I love it. Not only does it have great pockets for everything you have to carry around, but the overall look is perfect! It's stylish and doesn't scream cheesy diaper bag! This is something I would carry post baby also. Great multi-purpose bag!
