It’s a great, sturdy shoe perfect for both work and casual outings. I love that the velcro strap is adjustable. My feet are sensitive and I can’t wear certain styles because the shoes rub against my outer ankles and irritate them, but these shoes are perfect and pain-free! To make them even more comfortable, you can replace the insoles (they are removable) with a higher quality insole available at local shoe or drug stores I found the shoes to be true-to-size and slightly wide, but I have narrow feet to begin with. But my new insoles solved that problem. I liked them so much I bought another pair of Skechers almost identical to these called Hydrate. Hydrate is not a "work" shoe and is a bit more flexible than this shoe. I like them as well. I think Zappos is wonderful! I love that they offer fast and free delivery, plus no tax (for Californians, at least). And the best part, if you need to return them for a full refund, you can ship them back to Zappos at no charge! Zappos is so convenient.

I am about to order a white one, a proof that this shoe is perfect for improving your posture. It felt 1/2 an inch smaller at first, after using it a couple of times, I got used to my real size of 7 1/2" (sometimes I am a size 8). It will feel weird at first but once you get used to it you'll love it too. I get lots of compliments with it, I wear it with jeans or with my medical uniform. It's very versatile and Zappos service? Just amazing!

Nice alternative to sneakers when running errands after work or on weekend trips. Black goes with practically any outfit. Note to pronators - no arch support, so I wouldn't work out or run in these. Slip-resistant outsole is a plus, with all the rain we've had lately. Eyeing the sandals for the summer and will buy one if they go on sale.

These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I thought it would take several days to get used to them, but they felt great right out of the box. I have definitely noticed that my posture has improved since I started wearing them and I am beginning to see more definition in my calves. These shoes make you want to walk and walk! Yes, they’re a little clunky, but the benefits are worth it!

Great shoes for posture. If you spend long hours working on a hard surface it relives back pain. Great slip resistant sole. Fits true to the size. Could use more cushioning insoles!

I really enjoy the Skechers, I wore them for 8 hours the first day without a problem. Very comfortable and love that they don't look like tennis shoes for my work.

I have been so pleased with my Shape-Ups. They are comfortable and you can really feel them working your legs as you walk. Being a nurse, I am on my feet long hours and I do not feel tired when I do get home. My feet and legs feel wonderful!! I am getting another pair to exercise in.

Love it! Most comfortable shoes I have always worn in my entire life! Besides that, after wearing them for the whole day (every day since I got it), I feel kinda sore muscle-wise, so I know it works. Also, when I walk a lot, I feel my calves. Love it and it looks better, in my opinion, than the sneakers! Oh, and, immediately, your posture gets better, as soon as you put them on!

MBTs vs. Skechers Shape Ups: That’s the big question, which one is better? Skechers look better, feel better, seem sturdier, and are non-slip which you need in the sometimes damp bay area. You do get a good workout, maybe not as a good as MBTs, but pretty close.

I love my Shape Ups that I got on Zappos. This is a very easy site to use. I sent back a previous pair of Shape Ups that didn't fit and ordered these. They arrived within two days. The other pair was refunded promptly. I will use Zappos again.

I decided to try these out as a "poor man's MBT". ;) They are good. Not AS good as MBT's but a close second and at least $100 less expensive. I think they run 1/2 size small as do the MBT's, so I ordered an 8.5 instead of an 8 and they fit very well. Very comfortable and does have some of the "rocking" in the sole, like a good toning shoe should. I still think the MBT line is the the best, but most of them run over $200, some as high as $275. I have also tried the Easy Spirit line of "rocking" shoe, and although they were comfortable, I did not see the toning effect, as they are not as round on the center bottom of the sole. This is a good shoe for summer, and cute. I think a nice addition to my 90 + pairs of shoes. :) After my knee surgery 3 years ago, I need to go for comfort first and cuteness second. These have both.

This is my second pair of Skechers. I loved the tennis shoe version, but this Mary Jane version hurts my foot horribly. The opening hits my bone at the base of my big toe. No one else seems to have this problem, but it is very uncomfortable and not something that will wear in. Good thing returns are so easy with Zappos!

I tried this and the lace up styles of the Skechers Shape Ups line. This one is by far the better style for me. The velcro closure is great and holds well - lace ups are bulky with short laces that are difficult to get tied comfortably - I was constantly having to re-tie them. This style also gives a much better work out - with the lace ups, I hardly felt anything. They fit true-to-size and width, though they feel a little short in the toe-box - not enough to call them a half size small, though. I sugguest trying a few different styles to find the ones that work best for you. Thanks to Zappos' great service, this is easy and convenient to do.

I have MBT's that I love, but these are a close second! Half of the price,and they look good too! Help my knees, make me stand straight, can walk for ever because of the comfort. They run wide and I wear them with thicker socks, but they also run short, had to buy a half size larger. My first experience with Zappos-they were great!!!! No shipping, even the size I had to return. They promptly returned my money for what I didn't keep!

love my "mary janes" i wear them for work , waitressing and i get a lot of compliments on them too!!!!! i have a pair of white gym skeechers and needed this black pair for work, so they blend with my black slacks. i received the shoes in 2 days,that is what i call super fast!!!!! i have and will continue to recommend zappo's to everyone

I am really enjoying my SKECHERS Work SR Shape Ups - Motivator shoes. I bought shoes 1/2 size larger than my normal size, and they fit perfectly. My hips, thighs, and remainder of my legs feel like they’re getting a workout from walking around in the shoes, and I have felt safe with the no-slip soles. The velcro is holding strong, and the shoes are comfortable with good arch support. Highly recommended!
