The steel toe makes the shoe stiff, but not uncomfortably so. They will just take a little longer to break in than a casual shoe. The sole is slightly larger than the walking shoes I normally wear, so along with the stiffness, I occasionally get these shoes caught up in the gas and brake pedals of my car. I got pretty much what I expected when I ordered these shoes, a shoe to use changing tires on the car, home projects, yard work with power tools. A good shoe at a good price.

This is a nice fitting shoe that has no arch support. The insoles are removable, so problem is solved with a different insole. Sadly, the inside seam forward, near the toe guard, has separated after less than a dozen wears in ordinary walking conditions.

Just writing to let you know that the Skechers Work are great. For the new job that I got I walk all the time and the are perfect. Not like the heavy clumpy ones that I had before. Thanks a lot for a great and comfortable shoe.

I work in a automotive shop - these shoes are amazing. I have worn them 3 years running. The soles do not melt, they protect my feet and last 9-12 months a pair -- the best.

Very comfortable shoes for those who are on their feet for the entirety of their workday. Great support, non-slip soles are excellent, and they don't get too warm. Steel toe is a neat feature, though I really didn't need it myself. Great buy for the on-your-feet occupations!
