I am a server and am also in culinary school. Both require me to wear slip resistant shoes, and these are the best ones I have ever had. I'm not so sure about the toning power, but they definitely do force you to walk correctly. When you're on your feet all day like I am, it is such a relief not to have the lower back pain when you get home. Plus, I'm short and they make me taller! I can finally reach more! These are a great investment if you have to be on your feet all day.

This is the best shoe I've ever tried. My legs and feet was always achy when I got home from work, but these shoes help my feet all the way up my back. I recommend these shoes to anyone who's on their feet all day.

These are great work shoes! I wish I had these 20 years ago. I have been a bartender for a very long time and am on my feet for long hours. Now that I have these my feet and back does not hurt. They are very comfortable. I highly recommend them.

I have a long history of low back pain with DJD and herniated discs. After 2 weeks of wearing Shape Ups, I have had absolutely mo pain! I have not taken a pain pill for my back in 2 years. Thank you so much, Skechers!

I tried these (in white) last year when the price was acceptable to me. I wasn't sure I liked them at first, but the more I wore them, the more I realized that they were forcing me to walk correctly. These are the only workout shoes I will ever wear! They have fantastic support--I tried another brand and was bitterly disappointed. I like them in black better because they don't get so dirty!

I am on my feet every day at work for 8 hours. I also had a new knee put in my left leg in 2010, & the Skechers Work Shoe has been a Godsend. My legs don't hurt at the end of the work day. I go in & out of big freezers for food supplies all day long & never fear about slipping with the slip resistant soles. Oh yes, I also wear Shape Ups, non work shoes for everyday wear, could not be more pleased. Oh yes, their quick shipping is terrific. Watch & your favorite shoe will go on sale & even please you more.

I am extremely happy with this shoe. I already owned a similar pair for a year and have worn them most of the time when I'm out walking. I'm glad to be able to find the same quality and comfort in this shoe. In addition, my experience in dealing with Zappos was excellent. I originally ordered the Skechers Work Shape Ups XF SR - Register and found them not as comfortable due to the style of the lacing. Rigid bumps on the underside of the lacing pressed into the tops of my feet. However, I followed Zappos procedure for returning the shoe and accepting a store credit for my re-order. This all happened so easily and quickly, I just had to smile when I received my next pair so quickly.

I love these shoes! I have had problems with my feet for years and couldn't be on them for more than 10 minutes without debilitating pain. Now I can be on my feet for much longer and can even plan on being able to go for a walk! And Zappos is great! My order came within a short time. I will definitely do business with Zappos again!

Very comfortable shoes. I have tennis shoes shape-ups and hated when I had to put my work shoes on to go to work. I was so excited when I found these. I've had them for a couple months now and they are great. They are definitely no slip, though, and they squeak on the floor when you walk, but your back will be grateful.

The sole is so thick, I felt a little like I was on stilts. I might have become used to them, but the leather (very sturdy) was unforgiving over my bunion.

I have a pair of these in white so already knew that I needed a full size larger than what I normally wear. These are very comfortable and I wanted the black specifically for wearing on a trip that I know we'll be walking a lot. It's also a more formal area so didn't want to wear my white ones. You do feel yourself walking taller/straighter and gives your core and legs a good workout. I like the cushioning it gives my knees and hips.

I own a restaurant. I love these shoes. I bought my first 1 year ago and now it's time to buy a new pair. Still to this day I never slip this tiniest bit over water or grease. They are true to size. My feet, legs or back never get tired or hurt from my long shifts. As long as I can buy these, I will.

My orthopedic surgeon recommended this shoe to me after surgery. My inserts fit well and the support they offer make them as easy to wear as the far more expensive orthopedic shoes that were specifically for me!
