Very cute. Strap is not super secure for playground running. But perfect for my 4 year old.

They do indeed sparkle. Cute shoes, that your little one is apt to love but may take the parents a little time to get used to. Out of the box they are bright and a bit overwhelming. With wear, they get a bit dirty and mellow. They look great with jeans. A bit stiff out of the box, but to be expected for a Converse inspired shoe.

These shoes are adorable! Ordered them for my 19 month old daughter and she just loves them. They are very sparkly - we get comments every time she wears them out of the house at how cute they are. Unlike most light up kids shoes, the toes on these light up (most have the side soles) so she can actually see her toes lighting us as she walks (without falling over). Rain pretty true to size. She is in between a 5-6 and I ordered a 6 and they fit well with a little room for growth. Were worth the money - well made and adorable.
