My 7-year-old daughter loves these shoes. They're very cute and seem well made. She's really hard on shoes because she's very active and athletic, but these have held up over the month she's worn them. (She's had shoes that got pretty beat up in a month.) And, because she's so active, I was a little concerned about the spinner on the bottom -- like, twisting her ankle or tripping -- but there have been no issues while she runs, jumps, climbs, rides her bike or scooter.
I'd also recommend: Keen, Timberland

My daughter loves these shoes, but they are poorly made. The velcro separated from the strap across the top in the first week. Then the stitching along the side wore out within three weeks and two of the ribbons across the top came out! Zappos was great and replaced them, but now she's afraid to wear them.
