True Zero drop very comfortable, especially for wider feet. Perfect shoe for folks new to minimalist shoes. The soles are allow for significant articulation. Anyone transitioning should walk at least a few miles to acclimate foot muscles and then slowly work up to your original running distances - generally over many months. Sketcher was not my first choice for running shoes, but they are reinventing themselves while mainstay brands cannibalize older, non-minimalist product lines.

Awesome shoe. Very lightweight, really comfortable and just enough padding for a barefoot shoe to comfortable to walk in all day long without your feet feeling tired at all. I own 15 pairs of vibrams, New Balance, and other Minimalist shoes. For hours on your feet these are my favorite. Wish they had them in more color combinations for men.

This shoe feels like a "version one" shoe: it's alright, but it'll be great in version two. I love how light and flexible the shoe is while still having plenty of cushion for comfort on a really long run. However, a quirk with the fit ultimately led me to return this shoe. With the removable insole (brilliant to have a removable insole in a shoe to allow for some fit customization, by the way), the toe box was plenty wide, but just too short. I felt like my big toes would pop through the uppers way before the rest of the shoe wore out. When I took the insole out, the toe box issue was fixed, but I could feel the ridges from the insole, and it felt like my socks had bunched up in to neat little square inch sections. All that being said, the GObionic line has promise, and I will be watching.

I have been eagerly awaiting the release of these shoes for months. I love the fit, feel, and flexibility of the original GoRun shoes, but hate the arch bump and wanted a zero drop shoe. I ordered my pair of GoBionic shoes directly from Skechers (more color options than Zappos at that time) and was thrilled when the box arrived. However, upon trying them on I immediately noticed that a stitch in the arch area, just behind the big toe joint, caused significant irritation which would definitely lead to blisters if I ran in them. Sadly, I returned the shoes without taking them for a test run. I had expected that the GoBionic shoes would be build with the same wonderful upper that was used for the GoRun shoes. Very disappointing.
I'd also recommend: Vibram Five Fingers (Bikila and Seeya)

Very poor quality. Very "hard" run. No detectible cushioning. Barefoot would be better. This is not a good shoe. Go with the Bare Access or Altra.
