These are very, very comfortable without socks. Very campy! If you're a half-size, I'd recommend ordering the smaller whole size. And the money goes to a great cause.
Brands I'd also recommend: Born, Clarks, Birkenstock

The instep is high. The shoe itself is stiff. They felt smaller than the size ordered. I had higher hopes for these shoes, but I was disappointed.

I wear 8 N and the 8 fit well. The little drawstring in the back can be pulled tighter for those of us who have narrow feet/heels. Comfortable and cute. Pretty good support for a flat shoe.
