  • UNLTD Hi LTD Wn's by PUMAPosted: Nov 6, 2009Reviewer: Chelsea from Cincinnati, OHOverall: 5 StarsComfort: 5 StarsLook: 5 Stars
I saw them and had to have them. And I love them to death. They\'re really big and clunky, but you can tell they are just by looking at them. They\'re made well and look even better in person. I got the blue and purple ones. These were the first pair of shoes I got from Zappos, and I intend to get all my shoes from here from now on, seriously. They come super fast, and free shipping? It doesn\'t get any better.

These shoes look great! The ones in white have "u.v. glow", they change to blue in the sun. I think right around the ankle is very comfortable. I have gotten many compliments on these. Thank you Nike!

  • C1910 - Classic Skateboard Work Shoe by ConversePosted: Oct 24, 2009Reviewer: Chris P from New YorkOverall: 4 StarsComfort: 4 StarsLook: 5 Stars
First pair of converse shoes I\'ve ever purchased, and there were n\r\no reviews at the time so I was hesitant, however I am very happy with the shoes so far. Had to lace them differently at the top, because the tounge of the shoe was too toght against my ankle, the shoe laces are also very long, I suggest a double knot and just slide them on and off. Overall very happy with the shoes and would recommend. \r\n\r\n
  • Manteca 3 Mid (Toddler/Youth) by DC KidsPosted: Oct 13, 2009Reviewer: Katya P from BaltimoreOverall: 5 StarsComfort: 5 StarsLook: 5 Stars
My great granddaughter loved the sneaks. The service from Zappos is always great. Any problems? It's solved in less than 24 hours. Gold Customer Service!
  • Crane (Flagship Series) by AdioPosted: Oct 6, 2009Reviewer: Dutch from City of AngelsOverall: 5 StarsComfort: 5 StarsLook: 5 Stars
These are the best shoes I've seen in a long time. Colorway is awesome. The interesting thing was the discovery of what the link symbol means on the back of the heel cup. The link marking is from a major luxury jewelry house that makes really expensive jewels for celebrities and music stars, Hoorsenbuhs. Chris Roberts must know someone there. The shoes are rad.

About...

Go big. That’s the mantra skaters live by. In a sport that’s all about breaking boundaries and evolving the craft, you have to go big to be noticed. It’s often the daring and bold that break the mold (and maybe a few bones along the way), but honestly, they’re probably not thinking too hard about it. Face it, when you’re staring down the rails of a 50-50, feet wobbling from a switch stance, there’s no time to think about glory or pain. The make or break is only separated by a few inches and the only two guarantees are that you’ll stick it or bail.

Either outcome, we got your back. We at Zappos know all about the thrill of riding, the rush that only catching the next big air brings about. And while we can’t nudge you over the lip, we can stock you up on the freshest gear, so whether you stick it or bail, at least you’ll look stylin’ doing it. Go big? That’s up to you. Go big on style? Well, Zappos can help you there.

Born from the concrete jungles of New York and Los Angeles, skateboarding has made the streets its home, and from coast to coast, there’s a shoe that can complement your style. Does the Big Apple hold a place in your heart? Then slip into the heavy urban-inspired designs of Zoo York or the larger-than-life NYC83 from Osiris. Progressive, street-ready style can be found with the fresh flash of Supra sneakers, like the mile high Skytop or the TK Society. And if that flash just won’t pass, then step into the clean lines and slim silhouette of the Manchester Select from Lakai or the classic skate design of the Fader from etnies.

All you need is a board, some shoes, and a bit of intestinal fortitude to skate, but the right tech can keep you skating strong and injury-free. Some of the freshest tech around can be found with the crew at Circa and their stable of rough and ready kicks like the Lopez 50 or with Globe and their durability-driven Fusion. Or, if you want to see what the pros are using, then slip into the DVS team models or do work like Rob Dyrdek with his signature DC shoes.

Fond for the good ol’ days? Then kick it old school with Vans and their line of Classics. Whether you’re rockin’ the casual cool of the Vans Classic Slip-On or the fresh throwback style of the Era, you’ll be primed with some clean, retro skate appeal. If you can’t let go of that signature waffle outsole but need a bit more tech for your ride, then step into the revered Half-Cab for supreme support in every session.

If you want junior’s style to be as fly as your own, then you might want to check out our vast selection of kids’ skate shoes. Kids are the future of skating, so keep them feelin’ rocksteady on their deck with dependable and durable gear. From Adio to Emerica to Vans and back again, there’s a miniature version of the hottest kicks to keep your kids lookin’ cool and skatin’ clean.

Whatever your style may be, we know what drives you to challenge the concrete every day. It’s the freedom of riding, the chance to take on the streets and leave a lasting mark, the endless possibilities that await you in every session, the creativity you can unleash by stringing together a set like no one before you, the connection to your surroundings and the chance to conquer the concrete in your own way.

But mostly, it’s because you love to skate. So do what you love. Sure, shoes might rip or fall apart after prolonged use; it’s inevitable for the serious skater. But don’t worry, there will always be another pair of the freshest kicks waiting for you here at Zappos. Instead, worry about what really matters. The world is your playground. Throw down and ride.
