Latest Skate Reviews
Posted: Nov 16, 2009Reviewer: AnonymousI enjoy walking and these shoes are like walking on a pile of baby ducks. Really, they're comfortable and fit right. They are my 4th of 5th pair of shoes from Zappos in last few years. I am junior in high school in Colorado.
Posted: Jul 9, 2009Reviewer: Kevin from San Jose, CaLove the shoe! Great board feel, sick (good) look, and very comfy. I have skated in the shoes for half a year and they haven't ripped since. I strongly recommend them for anyone.
Posted: Jul 9, 2009Reviewer: Matt K from Louisville, KYI've purchased the red, white, and blue shoes and I will have to say, they look as amazing in real life as they do online. They took a week or two to get used to, but after that it is all smooth sailing. They are not the best shoes I have ever had, but they are very close. If you are trying to decide between this pair of shoes and another, I urge you to get these. You will in no way be disappointed.
Posted: Jun 24, 2009Reviewer: Brett from Old Tappan, NJComfortable, good width - Might be better with a little more toe room, but overall fits well and feels good. I have fairly wide feet, and this is a comfortable size. They've held up well over several months of daily use.
Posted: Jun 20, 2009Reviewer: Bryan H from Alexandria, VAThese shoes are great. I am a professional that was looking for a quality skate shoe that didn’t look like the Vans I wore in years past. The Dekline's fit the bill perfect! I have to go up on residential roofs for my job on a daily basis and these shoes are great. Be careful, they run almost a full size small. I have the Grey Monks and I will probably pick up another color soon.
Posted: May 8, 2009Reviewer: Jess from South DakotaVery cute and comfortable - I bought these when my new Etnies broke after one week of just walking. After breaking them in they're comfortable. They have a small arch which is something I definitely need. I like the style and that they come with 2 different colors of laces so I could choose. They have a 30 day manufacturer's warranty on the box which was a relief since I had a bad experience before, but I won't need to take them back since I love them a lot and they seem really well put together. I didn't notice that they had two grommets/eyelets on the inner side of the shoes so if you live in an area with a lot of rain/snow you might get wet feet, although I haven't noticed anything yet.
Drop In To The Freshest Skate Fashions
Have your steez be the beez kneez! With so much to offer it will be nearly impossible to not find a little somethin’ somethin’ to match your own personal swagger and lifestyle. Element offers skate fit tees that are a little longer and loose fitting for a more comfortable fit when riding. L-R-G and Volcom offers crew neck and v-neck tees ranging from basic to slim fits with dope poppin’ graphics. If it’s hittin’ triple digits outside and you can fry an egg on the street, then you should probably rock a dope tank to keep you feelin’ chill. With athletic jersey to knit tanks from Metal Mulisha and Matix, you can never go wrong.
Keep it straight hood on those breezy days with a hoodie or jacket. DC has a dope selection of hoodies and jackets and Matix has a variety of Asher hoodies for those breezier days. L-R-G has fresh Grass Roots track and fashion track jackets that can fit your kit. There are plenty of full zip hoodies, half zip hoodies, pullover hoodies, bomber jackets, M-65 jackets, and track jackets to choose from.
When you have to “dress up” and a tee is just not an option, just throw on a woven or knit polo shirt. Not just any woven or polo shirt, a woven or polo shirt that has so much swag you’ll be breakin’ necks because everyone will be tryin’ to peep your fit. O’Neill and Hurley offer fresh wovens in relaxed and slim fits and Matix has poppin plaid designs that will catch anyone’s eyes. With short and long sleeve wovens and polo shirts you can always have a classic look without sacrificing your skate steez. If you want to get totally decked out, then check out the Volcom suits. From neck to ankle you’ll have one sick dressed up look!
Don’t just stop with the top, trick out your bottoms as well! KR3W has some of the sickest slim jeans on the scene. They come in a grip of washes and colors and you’ll lose your mind and money tryin’ to cop them all. L-R-G jeans have plenty of fits from slim to relaxed in a ton of washes and colors as well. If you want to show off your fresh new kicks, then you could rock some shorts. From plain to plaid and even some denim and cargo shorts, your choices are endless. Then peep the sleek and slim lines of the Manchester Select from Lakai or roll out with the ever-iconic Vans and their line of Classics!
Accessories make the man, but the right accessories make him even better. Freshen up that wrist with the rock steady style of a Vestal watch or toughen it up with a big and bad G-Shock watch - either way, you’ll be right on time with their bold, trend-setting styles. Still feelin’ in pieces? Then string everything together with an Emerica or Element belt for a fresh bit of flash around the waist. Your dome comin’ unwrapped? Then top it off with a Flexfit cap from DC or a New Era hat from Nixon, and for those extra special occasions, class it up with a saucy Element fedora for that extra kick of refinement.
Stop starin’ at the sun! Von Zipper sunglasses will keep your peeps covered with absolute style and Electric shades will amp up the voltage. The big, bold, and bad style of Spy Optic sunglasses will have the jealous types weak in the knees with your stunnin’ steez, while the classic cool of Smith Optics will have you shaded with a style that even moms can be proud of.
Now that you have all this fresh gear, where you gonna stash it all? Try a Quiksilver backpack on for size, and if that won’t work, then Circa, etnies, and Volcom all have backpacks to suit your swagger. Plus, most skate packs from DC and éS come equipped with straps that will keep your deck in check in between sessions. Is urban living more your thing? Then Gravis has some sleek metro bags that’ll help you navigate your concrete jungle with ease.
