I bought one and liked it so much I bought two more! This pump runs on 4 AA batteries. On the bottom of the pump are plus and minus buttons. These control how much soap flows out of the pump. To prime the pump, you press continuously on the plus button. Nothing comes out at first, but once I let it set for a bit of time, and then came back - it worked! You'll need a Phillips screwdriver to insert the batteries. So much cleaner than having everyone's dirty hands touch the pump! (I consider this kind of a health investment.) I like this particular model because the spout hangs over the sink, although nothing has ever spilled. Love filling it. It's also nice to easily see how much soap is left. I used Aloe/Vera Softsoap refills and it worked just fine. I have allergic reactions to some soap products so it is important to me that it allows me to put my own soap into it.

Sensor failed within the first 3 months. And I've spent the last 6 months trying to fix it! It sure does look nice though. It sits right next to my $1.54 Softsoap brand hand soap.

I love this dispenser. It is well designed, the spout hangs into sink, and it is easy to refill. They come with simple, easy instructions. Using this reduces the amount of water that accumulates on the counter on the back of the sink.

Works great; won't leak soap if setting is on low for very little soap to be dispensed.
