I bought these shoes in tan and in the olive color and I absolutely love them! Do not believe anyone who says that they do not have good arch support! These have such great arch support that my feet feel great in these I can walk all day in them with no blisters (and my feet blister so easily). Plus they are so cute!! I find that they are true to size. I am an 8½ and that is what fits me in these shoes. They are a bit wider then Converse, have better arch support and make your feet look smaller then Converse. Plus I find converse is not true to size and they hurt my feet. So if you are on the fence on whether to buy these or Converse you should get these. They will last much longer and feel better on your feet plus they are cheaper!
Brands I'd also recommend: none, simple is one of a kind

I bought these to wear to Disneyland, I wanted a comfortable pair of shoes that were not ugly! They were so comfortable I walked in them for 3 days all over Disneyland! They were true to size also.

This shoe is a very comfy alternative to Converse. I can wear them all day. They look fun with jeans or khakis. The neutral color goes with everything. I used Scotchguard as a water/stain repellent. I have also washed them with a few towels on the gentle cycle. I recommend putting rolled up washclothes in the toes and letting them air dry. They still look new after a year!

This is my second pair of simples. They are immediately comfortable, stylish in a somewhat retro way, and provide plenty of support. I'm not a huge fan of tennis shoes, but these I love!

We just received these shoes today. I bought the Natural color Hemp style for my 12 year old daughter who has a size 12 foot. It is very difficult to find a fashionable size 12 shoe that a 12 year old would be willing to wear to school. She fell in love with them and wishes she had gotten a pair a long time ago instead of her Converse that she has been wearing. So we are ordering another pair immediately in black.

First, the customer service is top notch! Second, the shoes are the best I've ever had! I have small (5 1/2) feet and find it difficult to find cute comfortable shoes in my size. I was looking for something similar to Converse and Simple is what I found. Simple is me! Thanks Zappos team you've got a customer for life!!

I love these sneakers! They have been on my feet non-stop since I got them about a month ago. They are super comfortable, very cute, and I am thrilled that they are vegan and much more eco-friendly all around than most shoes. Though it is starting to get chilly now in my neck of the woods and they are not made for winter, the wind and wet goes right through them. One thing I would say about the arch support issue and these shoes are well-designed, because they do have a removable insole and you can easily replace it with one with more support, if you like. I personally didn't find that necessary, but don't let lack of arch support stop you from buying these great sneaks!

I stumbled upon these little cuties when I was considering a pair of Converse. These are a much better choice! I love the sustainability of Simple- and these shoes have more cushion and comfort than Converse. Great find!

These shoes were not the most comfortable when I first put them on. But after walking around in them inside the house they began to feel great! Now they are my favorite pair of shoes and I wear them all the time.

I have worn these everyday since I purchased them. I have a slightly narrow foot and high instep and find these very comfortable. I worked all day cleaning out a basement and these shoes were great! There was no rubbing, pinching, slipping, and were breathable! Not too mention they are adorable. I love them!

I love these shoes! I have them in different colors. Everyone always comments about them! My only issue is that they are not super supportive but they do provide lots of room for my orthodics so for me, they are perfect. I am usually a size 8 but have to get these in 8½.

Super cute shoe, and very comfortable! I wanted something that had the "look" of a Converse shoe, but needed one that felt a little more structured with arch support, and this fit the bill! I typically wear a 9.5, but my toes felt crammed in, so I re-ordered 1/2 size larger and they're perfect. As always, the return process was super easy...thanks Zappos! I'm going to order another color too!
