I love this slipper! I had to return it to size up. The sizing is really off. I typically wear a 6 1/2 or 7 and since it didn't come in half sizes and people had said that it ran small, I ordered the 7. Really too small, my heel was hanging off of the end and the instep was tight. A 7 1/2 might have done the trick but I had to go up to an 8. Once I got the right size though, it's great! Very soft and comfortable - warm - quiet, which is nice because most slippers with a sole are plastic. This one has a natural rubber sole and is very flexible and quiet and grippy so you don't go sliding across the wood floor. A great slipper.

After wearing these slippers for the past year, I feel that it's time to review them. I was searching for a pair of slippers that were super warm for my super cold feet. Simple slippers are just that, cute! I love wearing these around my house. The one sad note is that these have started to fall apart, mainly on the top strap so it doesn't really effect overall wear. It's been a year of usage so I suppose all things must get old. Also, I felt that the slippers were a little snug for my regular shoe size. There also isn't a back to these shoes and they still fit alright.

These "Simple" mary janes are perfect for what I was looking for. I'm a mother of 2 small kids and I wanted/needed something I could slip on and that would keep my toes warm. The soles are a little thin, but I refuse to wear Birks. Love these. They feel like a slipper that you wear outside.

So disappointed! I loved these slippers, until they completely fell apart on me. They are the most comfortable slippers I've worn (and I've worn a lot), and I love the way they look, but the felt on the top of the slippers started to fall apart after about three weeks of wear (normal, indoor wear). I am so disappointed.

Great washable slipper! I love this slipper & am ordering another pair. I wear them all the time & just love that they are washable. I put them in a laundry bag though to protect them.
About Simple
When is enough really enough? When can we tweak the definition of wealth and accumulate some positive karma? Can’t we just trade down for once? What’s the solution to this mess?
It’s Simple. It starts with Who We Are!
With all the over-built, over-hyped products out there, it's pretty hard to find sustainable shoes that you can live with. So we started Simple, your stereotypical, anti-stereotype brand offering good shoes and a big dose of reality.
About a gazillion pairs later... give or take a few... we've managed to learn a few things. Well, actually a lot of things. And none more important than this: HOW we make our shoes is just as important as WHY we make them. That means finding more sustainable ways of doing business so we can make a gazillion more.
Which pretty much is where we are today... at the crossroads of here and now, aware of our responsibility to the planet while trying to pay the bills—the nice little shoe company getting in touch with its inner hippie
Our Process.
Sometimes our progress is notable while at other times the improvements are harder to come by. The important thing is we're committed to making our product 100% sustainable. Finding materials and processes that make our products sustainable is a method we call Green Toe. It isn't a magic formula, or a cure. It’s a compass that, we hope, points to a bright green future.
Progress in Green Toe is measured with a scale called "good, better, best." The best category represents our most sustainable shoes and bags and sets the bar for the rest of the line. Moving forward these same innovative materials and constructions will be found in the good and better categories, raising the bar for the best products. Pretty nifty, huh?
If you’re ready to take a stand against the shenanigans of excess, then Simple has a new equation to live by:
Less is More.
Keep it real. Keep it Simple®.

I got these slippers about a month ago. Loved the look and idea. The problem is that they started to come apart in about one week of wearing. Soft, top layer of wool just started to break and develop big holes. Stitching is also coming apart. I am so very disappointed... Such a waste of money.

Not for the wide of foot or high arch - If you have been shuffling around in your Ugg slippers all winter, you may be disappointed by these. I have a wide foot and high arch. After attempting to wear these for a week, I still have not broken them in. I did order a half size up as the other review suggested, but still find them snug. They are, however, adorable and I will keep trying.

Cute and a little goofy - These slippers are well constructed and comfortable. They are wide at the toe which contributes to the comfort factor yet also a bit to a clown shoe appearance. It's not ridiculous but certainly not slim, elegant, or sophisticated in styling. If whimsical and bulky are fine with you then this is one cute and comfy shoe for household wear.

A tad too small - Bought these as a gift for my daughter-in-law, who requested a size 6, the size she always wears. This is a very cute slipper, but appears to be a half size too small and had to returned. We have re-ordered them in a 7 since this slipper does not come in half sizes.

SO cute! I love these so much I just wish that they had a more durable sole so I could wear them out more. They stretch out fast too, so they look a lot older than they are.

Very cute slippers and not TOO warm! I needed something that wouldn't make my feet too hot. These slippers just arrived and are great! They're very cute and the wool just molds to your feet. I think they run a little small, but I'm not returning mine because I do believe they will stretch a little. Just order up if you're a half size.
