Overall:

These shoes are adorable. However, they have issues. The black rubber toggle on the first pair we ordered broke on one shoe. Zappos sent another pair. This time one of the black toggles fell off and we have been tying the laces which doesn't work very well. The design could use some work.

You have to love these shoes. Made of Eco-Friendly Products (Organic Cotton, Hemp, Recycled Plastic, Wool, Biodegradable Leather) PVC-free and Lead-Free Formaldehyde-free Free of Azo Dyes. No presence of heavy metals. Tanning agents and dye colors are water based. All packaging is 100% recyclable, too! They fit my son so nicely, the colors are adorable. I actually purchased both colors from Zappos and they go with everything in his closet. Thank you, Simple! Hopefully they keep expanding their line for toddlers.

Overall:

A great shoe. Laces are elastic, easy on - easy off. Very flexible, you can bend them in half. Roomy; probably particularly ideal for chubby-foot kids? Works fine on my average-foot toddler. Lightweight. It is machine washable, awesome. My only beef is I would prefer purple laces to the yellow; I don't get why they are going with a contrast color. A great shoe, buy fearlessly. Makes for happy toddler feet.

Not holding up well after just one week!I am a Simple shoe fan. Unfortunately, I have made 2 shoe purchases for my daughter, and they've not been worth the price paid. After our first strike-out on some Mary Janes for our daughter (which we returned because the strap broke), we gave them another shot based on my past experience with their adult shoes. The Simple tag on the heel of these shoes came off immediately. The stripe that wraps the toe is already coming off in pieces, and the tags with Simple printed on the by the ankle are already starting to shred. The kicker is we've had these shoes for less than 10 days, and she's only worn them to school. They've gone through absolutely normal "kid" use, and they are breaking down incredibly fast. We've also noticed that the laces are starting to shred as well. The shoe looks great, but it's unbelievable how fast they are deteriorating. Literally before our eyes. Based on what we've seen, I wouldn't recommend these.

These shoes are even cuter in real life and seem to work perfectly for my son's wide feet. They are so easy to slip on and can be secured with just a cinch of the 'lace'. Mom and dad really appreciate that they're made with mother earth in mind.

Overall:

I bought these shoes for my twin boys, one with narrow feet and one with wide feet, and it fit them both great!. Easy to take on and off but stays on their feet as they learn to walk with more confidence. Very stylish and have gotten many compliments on the shoes.

These are great shoes. They fit well, and are easy to get on and off. My daughter is 14 months and these shoes work great for her. The rubber soles are nice and flexible. She seems to have a really easy time walking in them.

Not only are they the perfect footwear for a toddler in Vermont, the style is great. Cooper, my granddaughter, saw them and said, "WOW!" They go with everything and I really like the flexible sole.

If your baby has chubby ankles these might be a solution. My son has fairly large ankles and I wanted a shoe high enough to keep his ankles warm that he could get his foot into. The top part started out a little tight so I stretched it out by rolling a pair of my own socks inside the shoes for a few days to loosen it up a bit and that seemed to work. Good shoes for crawling and learning to walk and they seem to be a soft and comfortable fit. They also stay on pretty well. Once in a while one comes off, but it's not chronic.

These are the greatest baby shoes around. Not only are they adorable, they are soft-soled with suede upper and the heel & booty are made of the best cotton elastic that keeps them from falling off while worn during the days when baby's feet are still growing into them. We've had Robeez shoes in the past and while good, I think the Simple are superior.

I was worried just by looking at the picture that these would be like those horrid skate shoes with the fat tongue but they really aren\\\'t...I used these to replace a pair of all black Vans classic...they ended up working out just fine...they look great with skinny jeans. I love them...I\\\'m a women\\\'s size 6 so I purchased the 4. Really true to size...Also the fact that they\\\'re eco friendly is a plus.

Love these and most importantly, my 3 year old loves these! These are a great transitional shoe from summer to winter since they are as comfortable as Crocs, but a lot better looking. They are really easy to get on and off, which makes my life easier. The only problem is that the cinch doesn't always stay tight, but they still stay on so it's not that big of a problem.

Love them! The shoes are so adorable. My 15 month old loved them as soon as I put them on her. She ran back and forth trying them out. The soles are super flexible, a must for developing feet. I mostly love that they are such an environmentally conscious shoe while not sacrificing comfort, quality, or looks.

These are great shoes: easy to get on and off and fairly true to size. They have a soft, flexible sole and are great looking shoes. My three-year old son has been wearing them to preschool and they have thus taken quite a beating and still look good. The eco-friendly nature of the materials used is a bonus.

These shoes are great! I was a little worried at first because I was not sure if I would like the style, but they are so cute and much cuter on! I also do not like to spend so much on shoes they will outgrow, but really think these are worth it! They are so soft and seem so comfy! They fit great and are so easy to get on and off! If you are unsure if you should purchase, you should! They are great and good for the environment!

The cutest shoes ever. Everyone wants them and I wish they came in adult sizes. The bendiest shoes I have seen outside of baby shoes. I hate putting young feet in stiff shoes. My son loves the sliding lace tightener as he can operate it himself. Though he has a narrow foot and these are definitely on the wide side, I appreciate being able to fit a Smartwool sock in there without suffocation of the toes.

I bought these shoes for my 17 month old son and absolutely I love them. They seem very comfortable, and are accommodating his wide feet, and so easy to get on and off, but once on they stay on. He runs, jumps, climbs, etc with no problems. Also, they look so cool and he gets tons of compliments. I'll be sad when he grows out of these but will have to buy a larger size!

These shoes were even cuter and more comfortable than they appeared on-screen. My twenty-seven-month old daughter loved wearing them immediately. The velcro strap makes these shoes easy to adjust for the perfect fit. Very flexible rubber soles and soft upper. I cannot emphasize enough how incredibly cute these shoes are on my daughter. The Simple shoes fit seems about half a size larger, so err toward the larger range when you order.

We love these shoes. They are reasonably priced and use all recycled materials. They seem to run about a half size big, so bear this in mind when buying. I also own the grown-up version for myself and they are very comfortable.

What lovely shoes! We ordered the grey ones and they are adorable. Our 22 month old son loves them. They fit him so comfortably and we constantly receive compliments about them. Wonderful for every day play.

Great play shoes! No laces to worry about, roomy, and very sturdy! My girl loves her Simples! Get a half size lower than you normally would because they're really roomy!

My grandson who is 3 loves those adorable little shoes. He can put them on all by himself and he never takes them off like he used to do with other shoes. When I take him to the grocery store people say "Oh, how cute shoes he is wearing! Where did you get them?" True those shoes are very different from what you see around, they look very European and since I am French I even want to say they look just "very french". Merci, Zappos.
