My four year old absolutely loves these shoes! He tries to wear them to bed, and throws them on when he hits the floor in the morning. He has never in his life loved a pair of shoes as much as these! They are easy to get on and he says they are very comfortable. I am very happy with this purchase. I love Zappos!

Great, cute shoes. My son wears 8.5-9. We had to go with the size 9 in these.

I love these shoes. My daughter wears them constantly. I purchased 9, I was looking for 9.5 and review said they run big and they do. I haven't washed them yet, they seem to be pretty stain resistant. I will definitely buy again when she grows.

I love these shoes! My son is wearing 7½ toddler shoes and I bought him the 8 and they fit great! So, I would make sure to buy the bigger size!

This is super cute! It is easy to get on and off and came out looking as good as new after being washed. The fit is great and it gets lots of compliments!

Cute shoes for baby! The leather is very soft and of a high quality. I found the shoe runs a little larger than others labeled 12 months.

I absolutely love these shoes for my little guy. But they run small for his taco shaped feet. I have to return the ones I bought for a larger pair. I am going a full size up on the next order.

These shoes are awesome and my 2 year old loves them. They are comfy and stable and not sole is not too thick or wide. Just buy them, you wont regret it!

My son has outgrown his first pair of these and I am ordering another. They are great for kids with a wider foot. They are very well made and look so cute!

Love these shoes, both my toddler daughter and toddler boy have simple shoes, and they are the best for the playground. The best part is, they stay looking like new, particularly the brown ones, and if they do get dirty you can throw them in the wash and let them air dry, out of direct sunlight, and then brush them to get the suede feel back. These shoes were initially too big for my kids, but they soon grew into them, and now its their favorite most comfortable playground shoes. I am just so sorry that the company is closing that makes simple shoes. I have received more compliments about these shoes than any other shoes, including see Kai Runs, Livie and Luca, and Stride Rite.

Very cute - may be a little on the big side. My daughter loves them because they go with all of her pinks and purples. Sometimes the tongue gets stuck and hurts her but that is easy to fix and they are otherwise comfortable.

These are cute & comfy, easy to get on & off. My 3 year old grandson loves his brown boots!

Really cute suede shoe that looks great dressed up or down. The back of the heel is slanted, not sure why but my son still seems to be comfortable in these. Almost like booties.

I like the look of this shoe & my 2-1/2 year old seems to like them but my biggest complaint is that the tab/velcro closure is not long enough. My son doesn't have overly wide feet either. I bought them for the winter & I don't think they will even fit him in a few months.

Loved the look of this shoe online, but as soon as I saw it in person, I was concerned about its shape and profile. Shoes generally have a kidney-bean shape with a little indent at the arch, but from the top, these appear to be completely flat up the instep, which makes it a little hard to tell the left shoe from the right without turning them over to look at the sole. They run a bit large, which isn't an issue, except that the rubber bumper around the toe sticks out from the end of the shoe a good quarter inch, which makes the shoe longer and wider at the toe than it seems to the wearer from inside. My daughter stepped on her own toes and fell down a few times at the playground her first time wearing them. The soles are good and grippy, which is a good playground feature, and the tongue of the shoe is long and comes up very high, which helps the shoe stay on (although it's soft canvas and has to be held out of the way while she puts them on, which makes them difficult for her to put on herself). Now that she's worn them and they're not returnable, I hope I like them better after they're broken in and perhaps molded more to her feet. Aside from these issues, I like the materials and the general styling very well.

I love the fabric on this shoe. It makes it warmer than canvas sneakers. My daughter walks so solidly in these and they come up high enough around the ankle that she can't pull them off herself. Good treads; a good, solid shoe. Totally happy with them.

I LOVE Zappos and the quick shipping. Amazing... You almost get spoiled by it. These sneakers are cute. I ordered a size up (based on measurements) because my daughter was right at an 8. The 9's are pretty big on her, and the only thing that keeps them on her feet is the Velcro. Hopefully she'll be able to really function in them.

My son loves his new shoes. Easy to put on and they stay on. The ankle is just high enough to keep water, snow, etc. out without needing a full snow boot. Great sole, super soft outer fabric. Completely satisfied. and we all know Zappos ships these shoes fast.

Got the Scribble mock boot for my active toddler who has a chunky foot and a high instep. It has been an ordeal to find shoes that we don't have to struggle with to get on and off of him. So far, this shoe fits the bill: eco-friendly, moderately priced, lightweight, comfortable, cute style, and easy to get on and off. I can't yet speak to the longevity of the shoe, but they seem decently made. My one disappointment with the brand thus far is that they are made in China. Bring it home to the USA, baby! Otherwise pleased with the Simple Shoes!
