My son moved to Big Bear City in September. He asked me to get him some pillow boots. I searched the internet for 'pillow boots' and these booties stood out. He loves them. They are soft, warm, durable and a good price. Zappos did a great job of getting the order to him in a timely manner. Have done more business with Zappos and feel very safe and secure on the Zappos site. Thank you.

These are the only slippers I have ever found that keep my feet warm. Since I bought them a few weeks ago I have never again gone to bed with cold feet.\r\n\r\nA major criticism for me was the ankle strap. I have a sprained ankle and RSD and the strap was excruciating. I cut the strap from inside the slipper boot and now it is perfect. The strap seemed to make no difference in how warm the slipper would keep my feet.\r\n\r\nI wish Sierra would offer this product without the ankle strap but even with it it is a far superior slipper to any I have ever worn before. I wish I\'d had these slippers years ago - they would have saved me from warm foot soaks and "microwave" slippers and everything else I have tried to keep my feet warm. Thanks also to Zappos.com as I would not have found them without this website.

I was impressed with the speedy delivery of what I ordered. It seemed that no sooner had I pressed the send button on my computer, there were the boots at the door. Now That Is Service! The boots themselves were just what I needed to keep me warm in the house on our hardwood floors throughout the winter. two years ago, I got the less expensive sierra ones and altho they were utterly blissfully warm, the backside above the heels collapsed on me after a year, making them wrinkle uncomfortably under my heels. So much so that I needed to replace them this year even though they were not worn out yet. I hope this does not happen with my new ones. So although I gave the comfort and style 5 stars, I can not honestly rate them yet as to durability.

Sierra Designs Makes One Cozy Toasty Down Bootie!I have an older pair of SD down booties and they're THE warmest slippers I own. I can think of only two "downsides" (no pun intended): 1. you can't just slip these things on and off like the average slipper, 2. the sole isn't very durable if you're going to wear them, say, to go grab the mail outside. We have a typical asphalt driveway, and the nylon sole began to wear and then rip after maybe a couple dozen brief trips outside. I didn't wear them on an errand to the store like a previous reviewer. If these had a more durable rubber/leather sole, that would make the price tag a lot easier to justify.

Warm, Warm, Warm - These homely slippers fulfill the purpose for which I ordered them. My feet get cold in the evening. They really fill the bill. There is little arch support but how much does that matter when you are seated in the evening? I'm well satisfied.

Great slippers for the house - I bought the medium (7-8) Biscayne boot for my wife, who is a 7 1/2. She says it fits perfectly and has worn it constantly since it came ONLY 16 HOURS after I ordered it with the free shipping. I highly recommend these Down Booties, and I think they look great, although you'd never see them on the runway in Paris. P.S. Zappos' customer service has won a new customer.

Cheaply made compared to previous model - I've had 3 pairs of these slippers over the last 6 years. The newest pair, these pictured just don't last. The bottoms on mine have holes after a few months, they make your feet sweat and stink because of the artificial shearling, and they are slippery on the bottoms! They are warm and comfortable, but they should go back to the old design with the suede on the bottom and nylon lining with foam footbed.

Warm - Pros:-Warm synthetic (cruelty free) down fill; add a thick pair of socks and the effect is doubled. These would be great for wearing inside of a sleeping bag, but I use them for a drafty apartment. -Slip on like socks and stay on reasonably well; I'm a size 11. I bought the XL (11.5-13)since my toes felt cramped in the L (10-11). My feet do slip around on the inside when moving quickly, but the ankles don't sag. -Rugged design; I expect these to last a long time. All of the materials are high strength, stitched to the hilt, and tear proof. The soles are made from a stiff fabric and I could conceive of heavy outdoor use tearing these up, but then, you should be wearing shoes instead if that were the case.-Lightweight; Ok, I don't backpack or care about material packing weights, but these are light and they scrunch up easily enough if need be. -Synthetic material; of the down filled booties I tried, some were warmer, but almost all of them had feather ends piercing the fabric which made them scratchy, stabby, and uncomfortable. This is not a problem with these synthetic filled booties.-Low key design; the design aesthetics, including the logo, are minimalistic. My gripe with most footwear is the lack of simple design. These are simple. Cons:-I would have liked more insulation. As warm as they are, a 700 fill equivalent would have been nice. -Inside stitching; The stitches connecting the sole to the rest of the booty form a stiff ridge around the foot and this can be uncomfortable.-No sliding; The materials grip stays while my foot leaves. -They swoosh. It's the material. If I lost these, I would probably look around for something with similar characteristics, the main difference being warmth and comfort in the 5 star range. These booties are solidly a 4 star for the price, fit, function, and design.

Warm and Comfy!I really needed something warm for my poor freezing feet! These shoes are totally not for fashion (but then again who would have thought Uggs were) but are great to run errands in or wear around the campground. So far they have stood up to small puddles and are very warm. They get a little wide on the sides of the feet after awhile and I have to wear socks bunched around my ankle to keep them from slipping down. Otherwise, they are great.

Finally!!!! WARM FEET - I have constantly cold feet due to peripheral neuropathy. These slipper boots are wonderful. I only have a slight issue with them, because they are so cushioned, the sole shifts when you walk in them, so be careful. Love Zappos, and the updated shipping. Thanks for warm, cozy feet!!!!!!!!

Overall this is a good product, however, I had bought a Sierra Boot and returned them because my dad could not get his foot in at the top. He had the SAME PROBLEM with the moccasins. The sole size was fine (Lg). They need to make the top opening larger... I will be returning the mocs.

Toasty toes - I always have cold feet, these did the trick, for the most part...I only wish the bottoms also had something to prevent slow cold seepage...if you keep your feet off the ground, it's not an issue.

Toasty! With a pair of warm socks, I have even worn these to the store! Just didn't want to take them off. They are a big and goofy-looking, but that also is because of the down needing space and I could care less. Love them.

Way Too Small - These slippers seemed to run very small. I would estimate at least two sizes smaller then what they are marked. I typically wear an 11 and I ordered the XL (fit sizes 11 to 13) and my heel was buried in the back of the slipper and my big toe was touching the front of the slipper. They also aren't very tall. They do not cover your ankle. Overall a very expensive slipper for what you are getting, IMO. I will have to look at a different pair to find something I like.

Warmth Plus!I always have cold feet and, though they make family members laugh because they are really big, these keep even my feet toasty. It's worth the kidding. The elastic at the ankle takes a little getting used to.

Cozy slipper!Ok, if you're looking for a fashion statement, pass on these. If you're looking for a lightweight slipper that feels great but will keep your feet warm and cozy this is the slipper for you. Even though it's called a "mule," the back of it is high enough to stay on your foot easily. The elastic around the top is not binding but keeps your foot in the shoe. It's a winner!

Awesome booties!I love these booties, I wear them everywhere (although I wouldn't recommend doing that). Now, they are starting to leak through after running around town in them. But, they are really warm and very comfortable. I bought another pair for my mom and she loves them too!

Stay warm - Excellent if you have cold feet or have come in from the snow. These keep feet very warm and the insole is extremely comfortable. No support around the foot as they are a quilt for your foot. The down comes up the ankle, again very warm. I love mine and they cured the cold. OK for going in and out of the house, but not for a long walk.

Good winter slippers - These slippers were a good price. They fit true to size. The sole is a little thin and although there are tread "bumps", they do slip fairly easily. They are warm and lightweight which is what I was looking for.

Warm!I bought these because of a review that said these were really warm. When I got them, I was a little dubious because of the relatively thin sole. But I'm a believer! My feet get super cold. And nothing seems to help. But these have been great! I do think it's good to wear socks with them though if your feet sweat easily. Buy a half size bigger to allow for socks.

Functional - Definitely not the sexiest slippers, but very warm and great for running the dog outside in the evening. Not a pair that can just be slipped on real easily, as mine tends to get caught in the top and it has to be held up to get it on right. Also, I didn't find it had the ankle support others mentioned. But overall great for keeping warm this fall and coming winter months.

Space boots in Scotland - Bought these for trip to Scotland. They look like something for an EVA but I loved the way they kept my feet warm and not too hot in the cottage. You can wear them out, say onto the deck. But I wouldn't wear them outside for more than a quick trip to get the post.
