Sierra Designs Reviews
I have been wearing these since they came out in the 1960s. I just bought my 3rd pair in my lifetime. They last forever. Yes, they are slippery on ice and not much good for walking through puddles but they are great for everything else, indoors or outdoors. They do size them small so if you are a medium, get a large, etc.
Lightweight easy to pack, very very warm. I have tiny bony feet that get cold easily and I don't need socks. Well made, the black rim near the sole is a canvas type material. Even though they are not snug, they are cozy with the quilting and comfortable. I got the 5.5 - 6.5 size and I wear 6.5 shoe, and my big toes slightly touch but they are comfortable and for the purpose, I'm okay with that. Color is true to the website, I purchased the green ones.
Light weight, warm, easy to get on and off, a little odd fit at the ankle where the ankle cord is (tight even when cord is at loosest setting), and the sizing is odd, very wide, which is fine with warm socks, but clunky feeling and looking, saved by being so light. All in all, just a very nice boot.
I had the hardest time finding a tall boot that is stylish and cute yet made to withstand the elements like snow/salt/water/and mud that we get in northern Michigan. This boot completely fits the bill! It is super easy to clean (in case it gets dirty), looks fantastic, the right height (comes up just over mid-calf on me), and incredibly comfortable which was a bonus. It actually feels like you are wearing slippers, which is a feature I love. I would definitely recommend this boot to anyone who gets a ton of snow and wants to keep their feet warm and cozy while looking great!

I love these boots! We are having a terrible winter here on Long Island and these boots are my lifesaver! They are super warm, super comfy and very lightweight. The boots that I had before were very clunky and annoying to walk in. With these boots I find myself leaving them on when I come in from the cold because they are that comfy!
I normally wear a size 7 wide, so I ordered this boot in a M. I felt a size too large so I ordered the S and it fits fine. Boot does run wide. I use these for any occasion when I'll be out in the snow for an extended period of time.
These are literally a pair of slippers. They are slippery and dangerous. However it is light, warm, and waterproof. Only if it could be stronger on the bottom.
These are OK. The sizing is awkward. I got the large, because I wear size 10. I think the booties are bulky, more comfortable with socks then without, and the material is noisy. Otherwise, the booties are warm, can be worn outside to take out the trash and are easy to clean.
These boots are wonderful. They're warm, comfortable and easy to walk and sleep in. I've had cold feet my whole life and typically go to bed in multiple pairs of socks. No more! Just one pair of socks and my booties. I gave a five star rating for style because they look nice enough - however my primary focus is warmth and comfort. They seemed short when I first got them and, in fact, I called to request a size up which were unavailable. However the booties stretched/relaxed and are now a perfect fit.
I bought a Sierra Designs slipper two years ago and loved it. Then bought another last year. I wear slippers six months of the year in Minnesota so bought another pair this fall. This is no longer a nice soft warm slipper! It is a hard, cardboardy-type scuff that does not have a soft top or a nice cushy sole. The top is just cloth and a bit of cheap filling. The sole is now like the sole of a shoe on top of a hard rubber bottom. It really feels like walking on a flattened cardboard box. The marketing piece that it was shipped with states that this item is meant to be worn outside so I guess it is not really a slipper, thus the name shootie. It is not a slipper and I would never wear it around my house for comfort. That said, I sure wish they were comfortable because they are dang cute. I might try the Sierra Designs booties instead as I know the SD folks know how to make cushy slippers, but do they still make them?
Bought these as slippers. Wanted something to keep my feet and legs warm, but still comfy and not clunky. These come just past halfway up my leg, but I'm only 5'3". These also hit at my widest leg point, so if you have less than a 15" calf at the halfway point, these should fit fine. They are plenty wide, but a little short in the toes to be called 7-8. Good for a size 7, but may be too short for a size 8.
