I like the shoe, but had to return it for a smaller size. This shoe runs about a half size too large.

I love these shoes! I wear a size 9 and ordered a 41 - they fit perfectly. As I read on other web sites, they do run a 1/2 size smaller, so that's why I ordered a 41 instead of a 42. I have plenty of toe room. They're lightweight and very comfortable. Worth the money!

My shoe size, women's 10 1/2 A, is almost impossible to find except for some of the most basic ugly styles. I thought this size 43 would work for a 6 day touring trip with an average of 40 miles per day. It's just a tad too short. Shoe doesn't have enough support either. It's probably okay for its advertised purpose of indoor gym spinning but it wouldn't last long before support would give out.

I love these shoes. True to size my toes have wiggle room, and spinning totally changes once you clip in. One thing is that I am not sure if I should wear socks with these or not.

These shoes are excellent for indoor spinning classes. I ordered a size 40 and they fit great, maybe a tad big but I like having the extra room and was more paranoid about getting a size too small (I'm a size 8 US usually). I bought these because my feet were hurting a lot during spin class, I was getting numbness and hot spots that were pretty painful, but I wanted to keep spinning. These shoes have pretty much solved my feet issues and makes spinning 100 times more fun without worry about my toes all going to sleep! I haven't used them with cleats, I'm just using them as they came. I really recommend getting a pair if your feet are bugging you in class!

Add This Brand to My Favorites
In 1961, a three-speed bicycle hub displayed at the New York Toy Show became the catalyst for what would eventually become Shimano American Corporation. The popularity of 20-inch wheeled bikes with hi-rise handle bars fueled a demand for multi-speed hubs and Shimano® began producing an affordable and reliable version that caught the attention of the cycling world. By 1965, Yoshizo Shimano, the youngest son of the company founder in Japan, opened an office in New York to get product feedback and to provide technical and warranty assistance to retailers selling bikes equipped with Shimano® parts.

Though Shimano America has grown from its modest office staffed by only three people to a full distribution center with sales and marketing offices, the goals are the same: to ensure that Shimano® always has a listening ear to provide feedback on relevant trends and needs and make it a reality for their customers.

Shimano® invented SPD recessed cleat and pedal technology, which revolutionized the industry. The unique systems-engineered shoe/pedal combinations - only from Shimano® - enhanced power-transfer even more. A few years later the efficiencies were applied to the road systems with the development of SPD-SL technology. Less wasted movement, even distribution of power across the pedal and increased comfort. Simply more power from you to the bike.

Shimano's participation extends much further than its products. Through advocacy programs, ISO 14001 certification and even commuter/car pool programs for their employees, Shimano® is committed to minimizing their impact on the environment.

I usually wear a 9-9.5 shoe. The 42 in this shoe was way too big. The 41 works fine for me. Light and airy, perfect for spin class.

Very happy with my purchase and Zappos! Although the shoes are a little too big. Hard to order European sizes in the U.S.

This if my first cycling shoe. I bought it for indoor cycling and I love it. If you are cycling with non-cycling shoes, you should switch. The support is much better and there are no more hot spots!

These are my first pair of cycling shoes. I bought the same size as my running shoes & they fit perfectly. I use them while riding my recumbent trike and they are great. Very comfortable. I would highly recommend them.

Great for spinning. They won't slip once you get off the bike. The other bikers have to be careful because they can fall. So I'm the envy of the spinning group.

I was so excited to get these shoes - they are cute as hell and exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, when I got them they just didn't feel right. I know bike shoes are supposed to be snug - which I am not used to for athletic shoes - but these just seemed to rub and pinch. I took them to a bike shop to see if I had the right size. The size was right, but when I tried on a pair of the Pearl Izumi X-Road Fuel, the difference was night and day. Same size (both were 38-s - I wear a 7 US), but the PI's were soooo comfortable - and they also seemed more sturdy or solid than the Shimanos. So, sadly - as cute as these are, they have to go back. Might be the right shoe for someone's feet, but just not mine.

Brands I'd also recommend: Pearl Izumi
