After using this bag for a few weeks commuting to/from work on the train, it was a good decision to purchase this bag. All of my necessary 'stuff' fits but is packed in tight, like playing Tetris. Even there are a few 'bad' things about the bag, I do enjoy using it and think it's fine for my usage. When I don't bring lunch to work, it's a great bag and easier to carry under the shoulder. Good: Easy to carry, holds my 13" laptop, lunch, wallet, iPod, coffee mug, etc. Shoulder strap is very comfortable. Bad: The hand bag straps to carry the bag on the shoulder are not comfortable and loops are not big. When winter comes, using the shoulder strap will be the only way to carry bag since arm won't fit through loops with heavy coat. The hand bag straps are not removable and get in the way when carrying using shoulder strap.

Love this tote. I like the fact that it has multiple ways to carry it. Cross body, over the shoulder or carry. It's just the right size for everyday and travel. It's slightly padded which is nice and very well made. Cute too.

I bought it for use as carry-on tote for a long international flight. Held my Kindle, iPad, sleep mask, sleep blanket, charging cables, packed lunch, a couple guide books, water bottle, lotion, hand wipes, etc., etc. Top zipper meant it closed tightly, fit under the seat in front of me and never lost a thing. The single exterior zipper pocket on the back has a zipper at the bottom of the pocket so that it can go over a luggage handle - if you've got the back packed heavily this is a very tight fit and a real struggle to get the tote to slip on the luggage handle. Buy a Bag Bungee instead. To make this bag PERFECT: the interior zippered pocket needs to be bigger and the organizer pocket on the opposite sides could be larger and could use a flap closure. The two exterior pockets on the front could use zippers. I sewed in a key clip, which would have been a nice addition. As another reviewer noted, it would be nice if the carry handles were either shorter or long enough to go over a shoulder.

Love the styling of this bag. The Sherpani quilting design is what drew me to the bag. Sojourn has a great shape with tons of room. I use it as a book bag and a gym bag. Inside it has lots of pockets. Two deep outside pockets work great for keys and phone. I don't carry a purse anymore. The best thing is the water bottle pocket inside. No spills because it keeps it secure. The bag is a bit heavy, that's why 4 stars for comfort. The short handles seem to add weight and bulk. Love the shoulder strap I just wish the padded part did not slip so easily. This bag will be with me for awhile!
