Very Pleased - Since the first pair we ordered was too large, by an entire size, we had to send them back and get the smaller size; it was worth the extra wait. My son loves them! They look very comfy and they have held up well all summer, even through mud puddles and riding a tricycle! Would recommend them for even the most active child.

Sizing can be tricky - These shoes are very cute, a dressy alternative to a lot of others, but cute with jeans too. This is my son's 3rd pair of See Kai Run shoes. The one thing that I have figured out is the styles that have hand stitched soles such as this style or Devin are a lot roomier than the style with a different sole such as Elvis or Oscar. The difference is probably close to a full size.

The BEST!! This is my 19 month-old son's third pair of SKR's. He has two pair of fisherman sandals that he still wears into fall with socks. The Kai Kai is adorable, well made and the leather is butter soft! Easy to get on and off and looks darling with jeans and dressier clothes. Highly recommend!

Beautifully crafted shoes - I gave this shoe 4 stars overall because the fit was wider than I thought, and the shoes slip off easily (not a problem if our son is wearing his thick socks). We usually buy Elefanten shoes for our younger children and these were definitely right in the same league. Buttery soft! (much softer than Elefanten, but I don't know if they will last as long? We'll see :) Wonderful Craftsmanship! If your child has a normal/narrow foot, buy thick socks :)

Quality lacking - We bought a pair of "Alex" shoes about a month and a half ago. Already the stitching on the velcro strap is coming apart. The elastic lace is fraying. The color is coming off of the leather. It's the middle of winter here, so my son has not been wearing them outdoors (or very much at all). I have tried contacting See Kai Run customer service, but have yet to get a response. I would NOT recommend this shoe for active little feet! My son has barely worn them and they're already falling apart.

Before I bought this online, I read all the reviews 1st and since Zappos has been fabulous, I got shoes 2 days later. My son loves them and I got plenty of compliments everywhere we go. The sizes come a little bit big, but yet very comfortable, no red marks or blisters on my son’s feet. Thanks Zappos!!!

Make more styles and I buy them all - These are butter soft and so cute! My boys have several pairs and love them. They do not try to take them off. I wish they made shoes for me that were this soft and sweet.

Adorable and well made shoe - These shoes are really cute and seem to be very well made. I especially like how flexible the sole is because it seems to make walking and running much easier (less falls) for my 18 month old son. He has worn them everywhere, including crawling around on concrete and wood at the park and so far we haven't had any problems with scuffing or ugly marks. The only downside is that the shoe seems a little loose (my son does have pretty thin ankles) around the ankle, but with the velcro closure we can just tighten it as far as the shoe will allow and it seems fine. This was our first time to buy from Zappos and it was so much easier than shoe shopping at a store with a toddler! We'll definitely do it again.

Cute as long as you don't wear them - Extremely cute and soft and wide and AT LEAST a size bigger than it says. I bought two pair from this company, these and the boots with the star, and both were completely destroyed within three months. Within the first DAY the toes were badly scuffed. After about two months, and he usually has about 5 pair of shoes he circulates, so it's not like he was wearing them every day, there was a HOLE in the toe of this shoe, where it had come out of the seam. Maybe it's because the shoes are so soft that they are prone to wear, but I was surprised that my finished hardwood floors tore them up the very first time he wore them. I'm sticking to the Keens. Cute shoe, the kid liked them, but do not buy this shoe if you have an active child, and want a shoe that lasts a while.

Don't know about comfort yet! I bought these for my grandson who is not yet born, so I don't know about comfort - but they are the cutest little boy shoes! They appear to be well made and the leather is so soft. The style is so unlike the other shoes out there that I thought they would make a great first pair of “real boy shoes�.

It looks great, but... I loved the look of these shoes and was so excited to get them. They were going to be my son's main Fall shoes but they are pretty wide throughout and darn right sloppy in the ankle area. My son (15 mo) has an average width foot and had a great fit in the SKR sandals this summer (his first shoes). When he put these on he took a few steps and shook his head to say "NO." When I looked closer they were so wide his foot was slipping all over the place. They are really cute but you should only buy these if your kiddo has robust feet. I love SKR and Zappos, no reflection on them.
