Overall, I'm quite pleased with these shoes. This is my first pair of chukkas, so based on the vast majority of reviews on others, I ordered a half size smaller than normal (9 instead of 9.5). I'm glad that I did. While my pinky toe is definitely not swimming in free toe box space, a half-size larger would have made the shoe too long. Comfort-wise, the shoes feel like a quite comfortable pair of dress shoes. Not something I'd have a problem walking a substantial distance in. The leather is a very nice color, though the first steps I took in the shoes led to a slight lightening where the leather bends on the top. I had no intention of keeping these shoes in pristine, unblemished condition, so this doesn't bother me. Overall, quite a nice shoe.

Nice shoe, well made, order at least a half size smaller, I went a full size smaller and it was just right. Size and a half smaller just fit on one foot but not the other. Look forward to wearing these for many years.

My roommate purchased these and usually wears a 9 1/2 but got these in a 9. Snug fit at first but stretched a touch and are perfect. He's super happy with them though he's already beat them up a bit.

Nice shoe, not very comfortable. The heel lacks curve so when the shoe bends, it squeezes the back of foot. Still trying to break it in, but I have same pair from another brand without the issue.
Brands I'd also recommend: Johnson & Murphy

I loved the looks of this boot - before it fell apart within 3 months. I'm in college and I got them to dress up the every-day polo and jeans look and I've received many compliments on them. The leather really is not polish-able which is fine considering it's definitely a casual boot, but what really bothers me is how fast the rubber wore off the bottom of the sole - exposing the wood - and the individual wood layers peeled off. If I could buy an identical boot with better craftsmanship I would, but I can't risk buying another pair knowing how fast they fall apart. If you want to wear them once every week or two they'll be fine, but not an every day boot. Within a couple months my mother told me they looked like poor farmer boots, opposite of what I was going for. I've got a pair of brown Timberland chukkas that I've had for 2 years, that are waterproof, and still look new. These are more stylish, I really wish they had lasted.
Brands I'd also recommend: Timberland

I bought this pair of boots roughly a month ago and could not be more pleased. The color is wear quite well and they are the most comfortable boots I have purchased in quite some time. I highly recommend you buy these today!

I wear with jeans or khakis. Purchased them in the spring. Crap quality, odd design, cheap build. Personally, I really like the look and I get compliments. They do not wear well. Soles are not durable. The flat black leather is an interesting look, but requires a lot of effort to keep clean. Comfortable for lounging, but nothing more. Not a daily wearing shoe. If you are looking for a durable leather soled shoe, this isn't it.

Loved these boots for about 2 months. Even with care, the leather starts to look old and worn really quickly, and the quality of the soles is depressingly low. The rubber wore down, cracked, and began to peel away from the wood. All of this in 2 months. They look fantastic new, but no longer. Wouldn't recommend to anyone buying for the long haul.

I previously wore a pair of Aldo shoes before this, and this pair was a huge upgrade over my last pair. It's comfortable, it feels much more durable, and its rubber bottom sole makes walking quiet (the Aldo had wooden bottom so it clapped everywhere I went). I typically wear 10.5, but a 10 fitted me great. Oh, and it looks pretty sweet. :)
