This was my second pair purchased in five years. As with the first pair, I've endured a break-in period knowing that these shoes will give me all day comfort and support whether walking on concrete floors or any other activities for years to come! What about Zappos? My color selection for 14M was not in stock. What a surprise to receive an email a week later they were available. Zappos defines online service.

I chose these over the
Sperry Billfish, which I've worn through several pair over many years. They are super comfortable (the insole material is very soft). There was a stray stitch in the insole of one of the shoes which, over time, has worn down and doesn't bother me any more. Interestingly I ended up having to order the wide size - first time ever, so I would consider them narrow relative to other manufacturers. I can not comment on how well they last as I've only had them for a month. I would, based on what I've experienced so far, recommend these shoes as a great casual everyday shoe.

Good overall with a couple of issues -
Ever since
Dexter stopped making
boat shoes, I have desperately been trying to find a replacement to my beloved Navigators. This shoe is the closest I've come and overall seems actually to be a higher quality shoe, but even after breaking them in, they don't seem to "mold" to my feet as well as I would like. The comfort is OK, but not fantastic. A bit heavy for a boat shoe. Also, this shoe needs leather laces, the cloth ones constantly need to be re-tied. These seemed about 1/2 size too large, another pair of Sebagos I ordered seemed right. So quality control may be an issue. Overall a high-quality shoe that I think will last, but personal fit and comfort will likely be a roll of the dice.

One year and still going strong -
I wear these shoes literally every day, and they're still in great shape and have held up much better than the Topsiders I've owned in the past. They're very comfortable as well. I did add a gel insole, but they were comfortable without it. With the insole, it's like foot heaven! I seriously look forward to putting them on, as they feel even better than bare feet. A very good product.

Great Boat Shoe!
The
Sebago Schoodic is a comfortable, supportive boat shoe that looks and feels great. The colors available are great and the
sole is more substantial than most
boat shoes, to give longer wear. The only drawback is that it is no longer going to be available in wide widths under size 8 men's. So if you're a man with a small, wide foot, get this one in wide while you still can!

Sebago Schoodic -
Be careful of the fit, wide is not "wide". The instep is very tight and as in previous reviews, after a few days of wearing the shoes, my instep was too sore. It is a nice looking shoe and I'll try to wear them again, later. Zappos' service was again, perfect and I'll continue to shop at Zappos.

First pair f shoes were too short, but Zappos easily and efficiently exchanged them. Second pair at first seemed short though, a half size larger. I now find that they have shaped themselves to my food and feel fine. -- Although they still seem a tad wide although they are narrows. If you get a pair give them a chance loosen up and to mold to your foot.

Comfy right out of the box...
I normally wear a wide, but because of recent comments here got the WW. And it fit perfect. A very comfortable shoe.

Disappointed in this shoe -
This shoe is terribly uncomfortable. After wearing them for a few hours on two occasions, the balls of my feet were so sore, it hurt to walk. There is inadequate support (cushion) in the front part of the shoe. I'd return them, but have worn them outside.

Great shoe -
Comfortable right out of the box and has a little more styling than a typical boat shoe.

A good shoe -
I was looking for a sturdy shoe I could just
slip on and walk away, in narrow. This shoe fits the bill. It is a good no
socks shoe and works well with thinner
socks. It does take a bit of breaking in to loosen up the leather.
Sebago makes a good shoe, I have had various versions,
dress and casual, for 30 years and never had a bad one.

SHOE REVIEW -
I was so trill when Market America said you would be on our portal as I've heard so much about you. When my son's birthday creped up on me you were the perfect solution. Great product, free delivery and he had his gift on time across the country. I'll be a regular customer.

Inconsistency -
I take a wide shoe and have purchased the same size in a Sabago deck shoe. They fitted fine. I tried this shoe on and wore it around the house for a day to see if they were OK. They seemed to fit fine. Then I wore them out on day trip where a lot of walking was needed. After a couple of hours of walking I noticed soreness in several areas of my feet. The next day I put them on and they were "unwearable" because of the pain. Also, they can't be returned because of the wear so I paid a lot for something I can't wear. Thank you for asking. I know I have to be careful with wide feet. That is why I wore them around the house for a day.
