This is a very nice shoe for the money. These are basically leather-soled boat shoes with a tassel, which is great since they're sporty but the tassel gives them a little ironic edge. I couldn't find these in anything other than an E width, which was moderately wide (as it should be). The leather quality is excellent for an inexpensive imported shoe - its sort of an oily nubuck, not quite a suede but not quite smooth leather. It's very soft and supple, and it doesn't have the plasticky shine you find in many mass-market shoes. The sole seems reasonably high quality, and can be replaced when it wears out. Construction quality seemed very good. A total steal for the price.
