Great build quality overall. Although these are nominally "tennis" shoes, they're not suitable for tennis; I played a couple of times (having forgotten my proper sneakers) and found that I had worn the bumpy sole pattern off of the heel and ball area. There's not much support in the outer ball area (base of the pinky toe). Heel support is pretty good though. Moderate arch support.

Definitely runs small. Biggest worry is the footbed - it is lined with what appears to be synthetic leather. Just trying these on had my feet sweating with no way for moisture to be absorbed. I imagine these would get pretty slimy in a hurry. Going to look for some others that have a canvas lining.

If you like well constructed vintage style tennis shoes you should like these. I have bought nothing other than Adidas Campus and Sambas until I purchased these. If you don't mind retro styling you should like these. Keep in mind retro means very little arch support, no air cushioned heels, etc.
Brands I'd also recommend: Adidas: Campus, Sambas, Gazelles and Stan Smiths.

I love this shoe. I have it in white, but I am trying to decide between the green and the blue. Very comfortable and a great casual look.
