"I rarely take the time to commend companies for service well done but I could not let this experience pass and not send a sincere thanks to Zappos to express my gratitude. This is a company that I have never had a bad or even average experience with. I was introduced to the Zappos shopping experience back in 2003 from friend/co-worker. I have been a loyal shopper ever since. I ordered a pair of shoes that came 2 days later but unfortunately were not in the best condition. Of course, I knew I would have absolutely no problem sending them back, so I decided to call customer service. I spoke with a nice gentleman who made every attempt to rectify my dilemma. He stated the shoe was no longer in stock, he also checked other websites to find the shoe with no success. He then did "the unthinkable" he apologized for the inconvenience and advised HE WOULD PROVIDE A REFUND OF 100% AND I COULD KEEP THE SHOE. I was stunned for a moment. I couldn't believe it. This is not the first time Zappos has exceeded my expectations. I also ordered a pair of boots from Zappos before Christmas 2008. While out on New Years night, a screw became loose on the inside of the shoe and grinded into my skin. This was no fault of Zappos (but the manufacturer). Zappos easily accepted the shoes and provided a 100% refund and even provided a $25 coupon toward my next purchase. This company is a rare precious DIAMOND. I tell everyone I know about ZAPPOS.com even if I know they are not an internet shopper. Zappos always has the best selection of brands with a wide range of price points and shipping is almost always upgraded to next day without me even requesting. I can go on and on and on. I am still rather shocked about my experience to this day. Thanks again Zappos. Please continue to take my breath away. "
