"Hello! I have referred several residents and management types to Zappos. I live at Presbyterian Village, a retirement center that I refer to as The Old Folks Ranch. I get many envious inquiries about the variety of New Balance shoes that I wear. So far my referrals only complain about NB being too pricey. In 2001 I was told to wear diabetic shoes and was duly and carefully fitted with them at a special store in Leawood, KS. I did not do well with those "gems" even though Medicare helps pay for them. The young man at the store who makes all sorts of custom orthotic inserts, etc., immediately recommended a specific NB walking shoe (now with the number 926, I believe). He fitted these with inserts specifically to my needs. I pay out of my own pocket for these and feel it well worthwhile as the "diabetic" shoes only brought me misery. As for your prices and selections ... I find them satisfactory as I treasure comfortable, well fitting shoes and have even added two styles of NB slip-ons for occasions other than regular walking. NB should use me in a commercial! One of the best things is next day, or something similar thereto, shipping and easy return if ever necessary. I'm hoping to shop with you for a long time. Also, I'll continue to recommend shoes and service available through Zappos. "
