"Dear Zappos, In late October I ordered, by phone, some original Dr. Martens boots from Zappos - this was my first purchase. I told the (personable & efficient) agent that I needed fast shipping as my husband's birthday was in a few days and I had been unable to get him a present as my daughter had been hit by a car and had been in a coma. Clearly my husband would have understood, but I really hoped to have the boots in time for his birthday. Not only did the agent send the boots (at reduced cost) so they were next day delivery, but… a day later I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers with a card expressing concern and understanding for such a difficult time. I must admit that I have NEVER received flowers from a retail company before!!! Or such a thoughtful gesture. Words cannot express how touched I was by your unbelievable customer service - I truly am speechless!
