"I ordered a pair of slippers from Zappos a couple of weeks ago. At the same time I ordered shoes from another online shoe seller. The quality of customer service provided by Zappos was head and shoulders above the other site. Zappos took just a couple of days to get the shoes to me. The other place took over two weeks. The other place also froze the money in my checking account for a few days before telling me they didn't have the shoes in stock. When I complained, their response was less than satisfactory. By comparison, Zappos cheerfully refunded my money when I returned the slippers (for free) because they didn't fit. I can't imagine buying shoes anywhere else. Thank you for providing a rare commodity: customer service. "
