"I just got done reading the article "Zappos Knows How to Kick It" in the February 9 issue of Fortune magazine. I wish there was a Zappos in Muscatine, Iowa, where I live! I'm 55, “slightly” older than the workers pictured in the article, but I love the philosophy and values of the company. I ordered some shoes from you a couple of years ago, and when they arrived, there was a briefcase, quite an expensive looking one, that should have been sent to another customer in my order, too. I contacted you right away and you sent a call tag to pick up the briefcase, and also sent me a gift certificate for letting you know. I could have kept the briefcase, there was no way to track it to me, but I could not, WOULD not, do that. And you could have just politely thanked me and let it go at that. But you went the extra mile to make me feel good. If there was a Zappos here, I'd be first in line with my resume! It's good to see that there are still big companies that care about doing the right thing and value their people. Don't let corporate greed change you! "
