"I called your Customer Service Department regarding this story and was asked to e-mail you with it. I'm nearly 8 months pregnant and I had a wedding to attend recently. Needless to say, I was not excited about trying to find a tent to cover myself in, nor was I excited about having to wear dress shoes that were going to hurt my feet. Nevertheless, I found a nice pair of shoes at a fair price and decided to give it a go. Well... the shoes didn't work out quite the way I wanted them to, so I decided to return them. I was very excited to hear that I wouldn't have to pay for return shipping, so I quickly gathered them up and shipped them back to you. A few days later, I received my credit back on my debit card. But, a few days after that I received a letter from your company with something inside... it was my favorite pair of earrings!!! How did they get there?!?!?!? I have a son (who's about to turn 3) who must have thrown them in the box for fun! My husband and I own a construction company, so we have employees and stress customer service skills to all of them. Needless to say, I was ecstatic that someone cared enough to send the earrings back to me instead of just throwing them out. After all of this... you have a Zappos customer for LIFE! I really appreciate the earrings being returned to me, but even more than that, I appreciate the level of customer service that is exuded by the Zappos employees, which this incident clearly shows. "
