Scott Hawaii Reviews
Looks nice since the brown straps go with everything. A very basic classic look. HOWEVER, the footbed gets very dry and hard, as a previous reviewer mentioned. It becomes difficult to walk as the weight of the flip flops is too heavy for the sole to stay somewhat attached to the bottom of the foot as you walk.
I've only had them for a couple months but there was no break in period. They were comfortable from the first time I wore them. They are really lite weight so I hope they hold up. So far so good.
Very comfortable footbed and the color is exactly as shown - I would call the straps more bronze than tan. The blue gem stone gives a nice subtle touch to the sandals. Definitely recommend.
First time trying this brand, wanted a well built flip flop with good support. These are like way too heavy and drop away from your foot when you walk. Also not impressed with the arch support. I normally wear a size 13, but ordered a 14 after reading other reviews and it fits perfectly. Just glad I ordered from Zappos so I can return them.
These shoes are amazing. My boyfriend has been wearing them every day with no proof of wear yet so far! In comparison to Rainbows which are his usual go to sandal they are great. They have nice arch support and take almost no breaking in. Will most likely be getting another pair in the near future. He typically wears between a 11.5 and 12, if there were a 12.5 we might have tried them as they are just right!
These shoes are so narrow. They are cute and comfortable but if you consider your feet normal or wide width, don't bother.
Looks great but very heavy sandal; weighs almost as much as my work boots. I'm not kidding.
These are very heavy. If you want durability, these seem like they'd be good. I like light-weight flip flops, though, so will be returning them.
Great Flops for the price. I have insoles for flat feet that I wear with my all other shoes. Most cheap flops hurt my feet after a couple hours. These are heavier than reefs and have an arch support and heel cup. Fraction of the price of my Olukais.
Love the shoes! I have a narrow foot and they don't flop around at all. Very comfortable. Would buy again. Zappos is great!
I'm really enjoying these flip-flops. They are heavier and more durable than others I have worn in the past and seem like they will be around for the long-haul. The only drawback I am finding is that they squeak. I'm hoping this annoyance will dissipate the longer I wear them.
This sandal has great arch support and heel cup for comfort. I have not worn them long but they are quite comfortable. The sole seems to be firm enough for great support and long time wear. I suspect these sandals will last me many summers.
I am so sad I spent this money on these flip-flops. I bought them because they looked like they would last a little longer and had a comfortable footbed. They were nice and squishy for about two days. Now the sole is hard and shiny. At least the arch support lasted (about a month now) but I do not think they are worth the money.
Just received these 2 weeks ago, in time for our summer vacation, where they ended up as my everyday shoe. I love the new all-terrain sole! This shoe is just like the Makaha (see my older review of them) but with a "knobby" sole that's a bit beefier.
Scott's are hands down the best out there for comfort and durability, as well as a clean look. The sole can handle the big city as well as the trails (and of course the beach), and the nylon upper strap is the most comfortable I've ever felt.I'm a flip-flop aficionado, and find that these things just last forever!I would however recommend spending the extra few bucks for the Makaha - the heel cup in those make them more comfortable than most of the full-on shoes I've owned.
These are the originals, and are still the best! Living in Hawaii for 7 years, had lots of need for sandals (slippers, we called them, over there). I tried many brands (Reefs, Locals, Patagonia) and ended up sticking with Scotts. They're great for the city (we're in New York now), as well as the beach. Years ago, I worked as a hiking guide in Hawaii and in addition to my daily life around town, I used these for all but the roughest of trails at work (Though I don't recommend an opened-toed shoe on the trails for a non-pro). The durability and comfort of Scott's is unmatched. They weigh a bit more than a comparable pair of Reefs, but they last dramatically longer per pair. (2-3 years for me, under heavy year-round use.) Having recently ordered a pair of each, I just learned that the difference between the Makaha and the Haleiwa is that the Makaha has the heel cup. The heel cup is definitely worth the extra dough, for both comfort and longevity.

Scott Hawaii had its start in 1932 after founders Elmer and Jean Scott moved from Marblehead, Massachusettes to the Territory of Hawaii. Coming from a long lineage of shoemakers, it didn't take them long to establish a reputation within their new community as manufacturers of quality footwear. Their specialty was plantation
