This is a well-made shoe, almost too good for inclement weather running/hiking/walking. It has great tread, but with the suede upper, I wouldn't want to use it in the ways I just mentioned. Basically, it's "too pretty" for what I want it for. Besides, the shoe didn't fit me -- too large (even with my big thick winter socks).

A beautifully made shoe - waterproof, great fit, secure grip and excellent support. As stylish walking around town and at the office as it is comfortable and functional on the trail.

Bought this shoe as I needed a waterproof trailrunner. I found that the sole is really just too inflexible. They fit great and if I wanted just a hiker, I'd probably keep it because it is really pretty cute but for the price I just couldn't justify it.
Brands I'd also recommend: Salomon - can hike and run in their GTX shoes....

Totally cool athletic shoes; nice design in novel colors without being overly flashy. As always, Zappos is simply the best in customer satisfaction. No other online merchant even comes close in terms of super speedy shipping and in terms of super speedy refund when shoes or other merchandise needs to be returned.

I am using these to transition out of an orthotic boot after a metatarsal fracture. Good stable shoe with rigid sole, which is exactly what I need. I find them very comfortable, except they seem to be a little narrow for a medium width. I have to wear the thinnest sock I can find to be comfortable in them. Otherwise, I like them a lot and would recommend them.

I bought these shoes more so for color & shoe design. I don't do mountain or terrain walking so I can't comment on the effectiveness of the shoe for its original purpose. However, it is a good quality shoe but it does need some breaking in. Other than that, I like the shoe.

These are really cute and comfortable. They are not as flexible as they appear in the video. Good grippy soles.

These shoes are indeed nice-looking and have worked well as approach shoes. I've taken them on two climbing trips so far this fall and the rubber is sticky and helpful in a steep approach to or descent from the base of a climb. They have also kept my feet pretty dry in rain. My only complaint is that there is no loop on the back of the heel so I can't easily clip them to my backpack or harness with a carabiner when necessary. This is really inconvenient. If you're going to use these as approach shoes, and especially if you'll have to carry them up the climb with you, I might consider just getting the 5.10's (which are cheaper too), unless you want the Gore-Tex, which is what sold me on these.

Great looking shoe, also very sturdy. It runs large so I am going to re-order a half size smaller.

I am so bummed. I wear a 9 or 9.5 depending on the shoe. The 40.5 was too small and the 41 was too big...just not the shoe for my foot. I think a narrow foot is a must for these shoes. They have to go back. They are extremely well constructed shoe and I imagine on the right foot would be extremely comfortable. I really wanted to make it happen but it just wasn't going to.

This is a cute looking shoe. Unfortunately after spending an evening in them walking around my house and going up and down stairs, the balls of my feet were in pain. If they hurt after wearing them for 3 hrs why keep them and HOPE they will break in. I'm returning them. Oh well. I wish they weren't super stiff either.
