I have to admit that I haven't used these shoes for hiking at all. Instead, I tread the slippery streets of new york city every day. It feels steady and comfortable with great water resistance. I even run with them at the treadmill at the gym and it gives me the stability and cushion I need (although a tad heavier than running shoes, but that's to be expected on a hiking shoes). I had the squeaking problems on a previous model of this current one but they seem to have fixed them. In any case, I highly recommend these for your go to all occasion shoes. And I trust that they're great for hiking, too.

I recently gave this shoe a 5 star review. However, after just a short time, the shoe started to squeak. Unfortunately, I had purchased a second pair which also started squeaking. I tried different insoles, to no effect. Beware of this shoe. Don't waste your money.

Excellent shoe. Good fit and support. Highly recommended. I normally wear a 12 (or 46) but the 46.5 fits perfectly.
