These boots are amazingly light weight for the excellent ankle support they provide. Until I tried this boot I never realize I could have a light boot with great foot protection. They have a narrow foot bed, but because I have flat feet they work good for me when I use Super Feet insoles. The narrowness forces my archs over the insoles and help support my arches. I have gone through shallow creeks and never had wet feet. They are very light in weight, narrow, but are bomb proof.

I use these boots daily for 3-5 mile hikes on old fire roads. Comfortable right out of the box, durable, excellent support. I would buy them again.

Great boots! Took about an half a days hike to break in. These conducted a four day 30k through mountainous terrain with very little foot irritation. Only draw back to these boots are that they hold water when they do get wet and can get hot.

Great lightweight boot, good construction, and very comfortable. Works well for day hikes and shorter trips. Perhaps a bit too light for long backpack trips with a heavy pack, but still a great all around boot.

These are easily the most comfortable boot I've worn. When you first get them they feel as though they are already broken in (don't let that fool you though!). I've taken them out on 20 degree days (with 3+ inches of snow cover) and 60 degree days, and they have performed admirably. They are truly water proof, but as I've only used them for 5 or so full hikes I have yet to see how the will hold up in the long run. So far they are the best boot I've owned.

These are without a doubt the most comfortable, well built hiking boots that I've ever put on my feet. I wear a size 12 so that's what I ordered. At first I thought they would work fine but after walking up and down the steps in my house a few times it was clear that they were a touch too small. This is where Zappos is great. I ordered a pair in 12 1/2 and they showed up the next day. The fit was absolutely perfect and returning the 12's was a breeze thanks to Zappos' great system.
