Excellent zero-drop shoe with the perfect amount of forefoot cushioning. The shoe is very light and fast. If you have been experimenting with a barefoot style of running but still want some cushion for your feet, this is the shoe for you!

I mistakenly ordered a 1/2 size larger based on other reviewers comments here. Sorry, but I have to contradict their reviews... as I have a semi-wide foot and I should have stuck with my normal show size for this Verrata purchase. I returned my first purchase and am very happy the comfort of my second pair (at my normal size) while running or walking. Saucony styling is radical. Great shoe.

Awesome feeling shoe. Surprising amount of cushion. Perfect fit for me except I would like the toe box to be just a hair wider. Other than that, these babies are quick and light. Remember to run gently and take it slow if transitioning from higher arch shoes. I went from Asics gel (10+ mil drop) to Kinvarna 3 (4 mil drop ) and now to these zero drop shoes. Ran in K3's for 3 months (gently) to make transition. Now I cant even walk in higher arch shoes without feeling achillies and heel tightness? Anyway, love these Virrata's. I plan to train and race in them. I'm getting second pair for training to keep tread fresh for my 5 and 10k races this season. Get to the race healthy!
I'd also recommend: I'm done with asics. Love Saucony, NB and Brooks!

I have ordered from Zappos for many years and have always been really happy with their footwear. These sneakers are so comfortable. The material they are made from make you feel like you are hardly wearing a sneaker. These sneakers have great arch support. Similar to Asics, but seem to run a little wider. Great for running.

Following up to my previous review...Alright - that's much better! I'm wearing the 9.5 and it's good, a bit longer than usual (because I have 9 feet) but the width is spot on. So these Virrata do run narrow (this 9.5 is about as wide as my current size 9 B width NB running shoes) so think about trying up-sizing to get the correct width. Don't think there's something wrong with these shoes. Often, with shoes made narrow, you gotta go up a half size. Plus - the arch support is in the perfect place too - though I can still work a finger between my arch and the support...so that half size up might help when adding custom insoles.
