These shoes are awesome! They are light weight comfortable and look so cool. Everyone that sees them asks about them. I am a self proclaimed shoe whore and these are some of my favorites, for road racing, crossfit, even heavy lifting. They run a little small so order a 1/2 to full size larger than normal. Oh and Zappos you rock, great service as usual.

This shoe is a great buy! Provides a minimal, flexible sole that I find to be great for barefoot-style running anywhere. This was my first time buying this style of shoe and I loved it. I usually go with Saucony when choosing running shoes and was not disappointed. The shoe takes a while to break in. I had to deal with pinching and chafing for a few runs before my feet and shoes adapted to each other. Also, the shoe is small compared to its marked size. I wear a size 13 and had to send it back in exchange for a 14.

Great shoes, at first I thought they might be too tight but I was wrong they shape your foot well, they are extremely light and look amazing. I have received many compliments from them. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for flats for cross country or just running around the track.

Great shoe, and, of course, the service at Zappos is the best ever. This is a very lightweight cross country flat that I use as a minimalist running shoe for very rough trails (Appalachian Trail runs). With no heel they are perfect for a forefoot/midfoot strike and have enough sole to protect your feet from sharp rocks. I also like the grippy tread for running on dirt and grass. The only real problem is sizing. I had to send two pair back before I sized up enough to get a pair that fit in the width. Once I got them sized right I loved the shoe. Perhaps because I am into the minimalist running, I am finding more and more shoes I have to go a size up to fit. I honestly wonder if my feet are getting bigger due to increased muscle size.Anyway, order a size larger unless you are familiar with this brand and know your size in it.

Beware of ordering too large, as you might by reading other reviews. Yes, they are snug, and as an 11.5 who sometimes gets a 12 I did go with the 12, but would definitely not go up more than 1/2 size. Per Saucony, the shoes are race flats designed to be "tight on the foot", and remember many of us are used to being force-fed overstuffed "clogs" with too much cushioning and padding so these initially seem --rightfully so-- snug! Though these are billed as "race" shoes for sprinting, I'd guess there are plenty like me buying them as an all around minimalist running shoe, and as such they seem to be great.

I bought these shoes in pursuit of a minimal running shoe somewhere in between my normal shoe and barefoot after reading "Born To Run." At first, they were great, allowing any running style, whether it is striking with the heel or with the mid-sole. However, the front half of the shoe is populated with small triangles for grip. These have begun to wear unevenly; the tread wears out very quickly. Apart from that, I love them, great looks, they have switchable color swatches and are super light.

I, like Bryan C, bought this looking for a minimalist running shoe - after reading Born to Run as well - and it has completely fit the bill so far. Like most cross country flats, there is hardly any support whatsoever. The entire shoe is extremely light, and lets you run unhampered by all of the hi-tech junk that they are putting into shoes nowadays. The traction triangles aren't the greatest, but I've only had problems with them while playing racquetball, which requires some major traction, so that shouldn't be a big concern to most people. In fact I like the design but it's not perfect on every surface. The stitching has popped on the front of one of the shoes. This hasn't affected anything yet, and is holding pretty well without getting worse. Stitching could be slightly more durable, as could the traction on the sole; they feel quality made but due to the nature of the shoe (minimalist, very light) it seems susceptible to falling apart after heavy use I get a ton of compliments on these things. I'm in college and get compliments almost every time I wear them. They're flashy and stylish but keep a masculine feel. Pros: Light, minimalist, comfortable (soft, does a good job of simply wrapping around your foot without being a hassle to put on/take off/wear), look great, good ventilation. Cons: Stitching, long-term durability The bottom line: I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. I've owned these for almost 4 months now, and expect to get at least a year's use out of them. Once they fall apart, there is a very high chance that I'll purchase them again. I would recommend them to a friend in a heartbeat. For the price this is an excellent deal for anyone who needs a comfortable, quality, good looking athletic shoe. In simpler terms: Get these!

Great super lightweight shoe, very narrow forefoot but it has not caused any blisters or discomfort, not for people with even moderately wide feet, good tread for traction and it appears to be very durable as well.

Cool styling, looks great, but it runs really small. I ordered up a half a size and I could still barely squeeze my foot in there. It also felt really narrow.

This is the first actual running shoe that I have owned and they are absolutely awesome. They fit tight on the foot, like a glove. You definitely do not want to wear socks with these. For men and women who are into running with minimalist footwear I am very pleased with this purchase.

Although this is a running shoe and is designed to be form fitting to your foot, it is definitely a full size smaller than marked. Very breathable for your feet, and also very showy, but has class.

These shoes are awesome! I get compliments every time I wear them, specially because this color combination fits best if you're a Bears Fan. The shoes are remarkably comfortable and breezy. Although currently winter conditions outside, as soon as it gets nice enough outside, i'll be taking these puppies out for a run. Cant wait!

These ran a full size smaller than I typically wear. I really like the look of these shoes, they have more cushioning than other XC shoes I have owned, but that might not be a bad thing for rocky trails around here...

Just tried these on. They look awesome and I like that the material is nice and stretch but the sole of the shoe is so narrow! My feet were sliding to the sides. Also the insoles don't come out (I forgot to check). If you can deal with the narrowness they should be comfy. And thanks to those who suggested ordering a full size up.

This shoe has had a huge impact on me. I was struggling with hamstring issues and had fell for the ad marketing ploys that said I needed more support for my flat feet. This shoe was not only comfortable from the moment I put it on it made me feel as if slowing down when running was not an option (in a good way)! I'm in the Air Force and just took my PT test a couple days ago. My run time for the mile and a half run 6 months prior was 12:50 and my run time with this shoe was 11:18! On top of that, just a couple months ago I couldn't even finish the 1.5 mile run without having hamstring issues creep back in. Then about a month ago when I got this shoe in from Zappos, it was as if those symptoms never existed. Saucony has a fan for life!

Great shoes, are tight at first but after a few runs, they will form better to your feet. These shoes grip natural surfaces like grass or dirt very well. I plan on buying another pair if they are still available.
