Bought this shoe as a replacement for the Kinvara that I've been wearing for the past 250 miles or so. I wanted something very light and more durable for longer runs. While this shoe is very light, it really isn't very comfortable at all. In fact, I would place it toward the bottom on a list of overall comfort of running shoes that I've owned - and I've owned a few. Compared to the Kinvara they definitely will be much more durable, but can't come close in comfort. Don't buy these if you expect them to feel like the Kinvara's...they won't, I was surprised. Overall, not a terrible shoe but not the best either. I should have bought another pair of Kinvara's.

I was looking for a lighter weight shoe because I've been reading on the whole minimal craze. This shoe ended up working great because I still get the fit of a regular shoe but now I get the whole low to the ground feel and flexibility of a minimal shoe. The cushion is great too and I feel like I have some support with this minimal shoe. This is definitely my shoe of choice now!

These are solid running shoes. I like them better than the Kinvaras. They feel a little more sluggish than my Brooks Ghost 3s, maybe because of softer rubber in the soles. When I lace them up all the way, the laces go over the top of the tongue, so I lace them lower. They are not stylish. To me the Kinvaras and Mirages are similar to Nike LunaRacer, but they fit my feet much better. The problem with the Luna racer is it is tight on the inside of the shoe in the forefoot, but the outersole is super-wide to the point that it is cumbersome.

Far and away superior to the Kinvara in comfort and durability. I was looking for a borderline minimal (but still supportive) running shoe. Like most runners, I found the Kinvara to be so flat and unsupportive as to be uncomfortable. The Mirage solves this problem by making a minimal shoe that by far outdoes Kinvara in terms of comfort and (neutral-ish) support. Awesome shoe.

My husband is difficult to fit; flat and narrow foot. He loves this shoe, wearing 1/2 size longer than the usual wider ones. Have ordered a pair for my son and hoping for the same wonderful fit!

Shoe felt great. The support was good for a light shoe. Will know more after a few long runs, around 10 miles.

These have a narrower toe box than the neutral Kinvara. This is still a good transitional shoe to a more minimal shoe with the 4 mm heel to forefoot offset. However, there is less room in the toe box for it to spread. I was looking for a little more stability for long run, but I will just stick with the Saucony Kinvara.

These are great running shoes. They are very light, have very comfortable padding around the collar, are very breathable, and provide excellent support for my slight pronation. One small negative, though, I think these shoes were meant to be used without socks, I had to order mine half a size bigger (normally I wear 11½, but I got these in 12) because I like to run with socks. Now they fit perfectly! I love Saucony!

These shoes look great and feel amazing right out of the box. Unfortunately, I returned them due to a flaw in the bottom tread design. On all smooth surfaces, such as hardwood or painted concrete, the shoe tread creates a suction with the floor, resulting in a popping sound that is loud and can be felt with every step. As I planned on wearing them as my everyday shoes, I couldn't accept the design flaw as it's a bit embarrassing when people start looking at where the sound is coming from.

Been great shoes sonar, logged 25 miles in 2 weeks including a 10k pr at rock n' roll NY, sub 47 minutes. Bright color gets a lot of looks. Super comfy, nice step up relative to Kinvara 2 with more cushioning.

The Mirage had a good balance between support and cushioning. The shoe felt like a glove and is also pretty lightweight. Liked the shoe so much I bought a second pair. The yellow was the sharpest color in the line of the Mirage. Was a good fit for my foot.

Have thoroughly enjoyed my Mirages. Very light and comfortable. Just the right amount of support for my running style. Moved to this shoe from the Brooks Adrenaline when I changed to a more midfoot strike. Ran my Ironman marathon in these without problem. I use them for all my training and racing. I will get another pair.

My opinion is not authoritative because I don't buy many running shoes, but I've been very happy with these. They are light and feel great.
