I can't say enough about this shoe. I am walking again! My fast paced mall walk has returned, thanks to the Progrid Integrity ST 2. I just finished five months of physical therapy for having anterior and posterior tarsal tunnel surgery, plantar fascia release, heel spur removed, and 1st metatarsal spur removed. Have had metatarsal stress fractures in the past, so deal with arthritic changes. I wore this shoe right out of the box. And to the grocery store, the mall, and did two 30 minute walks that day. When I get up from sitting, I can walk without pain. I have c-shaped feet, E to EE width, high arches and high instep, with a narrow heel. I underpronate so much I easily sprain my ankles.Wore them with my thin orthotics. No blisters. I can lace them. Plenty of room. Finding shoes for underpronaters is difficult. Even with my orthotics, they don't allow me to roll out or in excessively. And it lifts my heel enough to keep weight off of my heels. Insert has added foam on underside, so no need to add heel inserts, etc. for heel pain. My search is over. Get this shoe and enjoy life again. Previously wore New Balance 1064, 1123, and 1225, with orthotics and store bought/home made heel inserts. Love these!

I'd also recommend: New Balance, Soft Spots, Klogs

Goodbye New Balance. After 20 years I have finally found a pair of sneakers that are wide enough in the toe box with no rollbar! As someone who underpronates a rollbar makes the outsides of my feet ache since the rollbar forces my foot out of its natural motion. These are so lightweight too. I started bouncing around as soon as I put them on and my boyfriend was shocked. I bought these in WW, here are the WW ones I returned that were not wide enough: New Balance WX623, WW577, Jeen A86 TR (not WW). The New Balance WW846 was slightly wider than these Sauconys-- but had a clompy rollbar. If you need wide in the toe box and are neutral or an underpronator you should definitely try these sneakers. Also, I had to get these half a size larger than I usually get in New Balance, in the same size as my regular/dress shoes. I hope this helps. These are the first sneakers that I have ever liked enough to review!

These are not an attractive shoe but I have neuropathy in both feet and these work well for me. I've recently started walking for exercise and finding shoes that I could wear was a real problem. These shoes have a wide enough toe box for my sensitive toes and good support for the whole foot. I've tried several shoes and these were the ones that worked for me.

I forgot to say in my review of June 29th--and this is SO important--that these shoes are very bunion-friendly. I have a bunion on my left foot, and while it usually doesn't bother me much, the wrong shoe can REALLY set it off. This isn't one of them for me. I initially became interested in this shoe because the FootSmart catalog mentioned this very thing. These are replacing the Orthaheel Walker that I bought in April, 2011, which were comfortable, accommodated my orthotic, and didn't irritate my bunion, but I didn't think they wore that well. I had the same experience with the Etonic LiteWalker before that. We'll see how these last--I always know it's time for a new pair of shoes when my knees start to bother me--being in my mid-50s and a little overweight. BTW, I also tried the Saucony Grid OmniWalker at the same time. The toe box was narrower and the shoe didn't feel as natural on the foot as the ProGrid, so I returned those.

If you have problem feet; this is the shoe for you! I had almost given up finding anything to accommodate my bunions, hammertoes and painful heels until I ordered these! There is a special something in the heel that has totally eliminated my heel pain, and the leather is so soft, and the style so expertly engineered that my bunions and hammertoes are no longer a problem. Also, the toe box is wonderfully roomy, so that my poor toes are not crowded. I was so impressed that I bought two more pair, one more in black for winter and one in white for summer. I'll be back for an additional pair in white. I had tried everything, including special carried-by-podiatrists-only expensive shoes that I had to return. Thank you, Saucony for letting me walk normally again... shoes are wonderfully lined, too, and "diabetic friendly," which means nothing on the inside to irritate. They are a pleasure to wear every day. My feet are happy again.

I'd also recommend: none
