In 1977, after many long years being kept a close secret, Saucony men’s shoes and Saucony women’s shoes were recognized by a small group of serious runners and received an award given by a US magazine. Stemming from that day, Saucony shoes and Saucony clothes have built a reputation for high quality and innovative technical performance for which it is known today.
Four years later, the Saucony Jazz O, the most popular Saucony (now Saucony Original) shoe to be made, was launched and in 1991, Saucony shoes offered a midsole comprising both cushioning and stability-GRID® resulting in Saucony men’s shoes and Saucony women’s shoes delivering a superior ride.
