Overall a great shoe. My heel was slipping a little bit, but I was able to correct that by changing up the lace configuration.

Great color and great shoe. Zappos also delivered it quickly and without any hassle. I have bought a Saucony Pro Grid Guide 2 before, so I just used the same shoe size to determine the size of this one. It was one shoe size bigger than I normally wear though, so be cautious.

I have been a staunch supporter of the Guide series for years and have been through multiple pairs of the Guide 2 and Guide 3 series. I was excited to purchase Guide 4 series and true to form ran comfortably with them right out of the box. Unfortunately with less than 40 miles on them I started to notice tears in the sock liner and frays around the whole shoe. With 40 miles they already looked more worn than my 2 year old Guide 2s now retired to yard work. I contacted Zappos and they quickly replaced them. I am now a month into the second pair of Guide 4s and they are completely falling apart again (50 miles at best). Sock liner torn on both sides tongue frayed and the shoelaces actually come untied when I am running (I have never had that problem with any other Guide series). I contacted Saucony but they sent me a form email and sent me back to the place of purchase. Zappos has agreed to refund my money now which is great and shows Zappos' true customer service. Now I am afraid I have to find a new brand of running shoe after my dedication to Saucony and the Guides series for years. Any suggestions?

I love this Saucony shoe. It is light and very comfortable. I am 215 lbs and run about 13 miles per week. I have tried others and nothing is as comfortable so I always go back to the this sneaker.

Great shoe! Was running in the Saucony Triumph 7 and switched to this when I started having some knee issues because it offers a little more support. This shoe has a lot of cushioning for a heel striker like me, but is lighter than the Triumph and unlike some shoes it doesn't feel too soft or mushy. It's also somewhat narrow in the forefoot which I like. I run 20 to 30 miles a week and using this shoe combined with a knee strap has cured my knee problems. And from a cosmetic perspective, I've gotten a lot of compliments on the slime green color.

Bought these for serious walking. Wanted a more compact, better looking shoe than the traditional athletic shoes. Ordered these based on reviews and love them. They are very comfortable, have plenty of support and are good looking as well. Buying shoes can be tricky, but love Zappos free return offer - it makes mail ordering shoes work!

This is my 4th pair of these shoes. They were originally recommended to me to help with plantar fascia, which they did, and still do (it has never returned). At the same time I began wearing these Sauconys, I also started using ProStep Pinnacle insoles in all my shoes (even in these shoes, I discard the included insoles). I have been pain free for several years since. I've been a runner for 30 plus years - these have been my favorite shoes. You get excellent arch support with the Pinnacles. Not near as much with what is included (which is what I rated on).

This shoe is without a doubt, the most comfortable pair of running shoes I've ever owned. I've tried Nike and Adidas and I have tried Vibrams. I have flat feet and I have a huge problem with over-pronating. These shoes instantly add relief to my calves and ankles. The price is also terrific and I love their style! Great value!

After searching several retailers in my area, I was unable to find the perfect fitting athletic shoe. I needed a wide shoe which the retailers only stock in limited quantities and styles. I found exactly what I needed on Zappos and avoided the hassles of shopping in-store. Great shopping experience and got the shoe I needed.
Brands I'd also recommend: New Balance

I've trusted Saucony for over 20 years as a quality running shoe for half of what you would pay for other name brands! As for Zappos? Excellent and extremely speedy customer service. Top shelf company!

I put over 500 miles on my first pair of these spectacular shoes and enjoyed them so much that I purchased 3 more identical pair. The comfort level of these shoes is like running on clouds and the look brings sexy to every treadmill run!

Light, good looking, comfortable, durable...absolutely love them and they are a definite improvement over my last pair of running shoes (Nike). I definitely recommend the ProGrid Guide 4, especially at this price!

These shoes provide my low arches with support and have helped my plantar fasciitis. Typically I can get 300-400 miles out of a pair.

I actually found that this was the shoe for me, by using the shoe guide at runnersworld.com, and I must say that they are exactly what I needed for my runs. I have less pain and better support than I had been getting from my old running shoes.

This is my 2nd pair of the ProGrid Guide 4, even though they are great shoes to run long distances, the build quality is lower than the 'grid 3' generation. I have this new pair for 4 runs (+40 miles) and the inside mesh at the top right (the one that my little toe hits) is already worn out. I'm returning these, hope the Zappos policy allows for this. On the other hand, I'm still occasionally using my older (progrid 3) that are like 2 years old.
