Having been in a terrible car accident as a child, shoes (heavily cushioned) have been a part of my life. I have worn the Saucony Grids in running shoes for sometime, just for the sake of comfort, and love them. When I started back to work our dress code stipulated no athletic shoes - even though we are on our feet all day, 100% of the time - so I began searching for black athletic shoes. I've worn New Balance (with extra cushioning in the heel) for several years - I decided it was stupid for me to continue to purchase extra cushions for the heels when I should just be able to purchase a shoe that fits the bill. This shoe does just that. Goodbye extra heel cushions, and hello comfort. They took no break in period and have been wonderful since the day I purchased them - and I am planning to purchase another pair in the next couple of months to have on hand since I can only get 6 - 8 months of comfort out of a shoe. They still look perfectly new, just my bad heel knows the difference.

These shoes did not have any arch support and felt like I was walking on a board. It was hard to unlace and get my foot into. I am trying to replace the ProGrid ST which had excellent arch support and felt cushiony. Zappos is wonderful but Saucony needs to stick with what worked.

I'd also recommend: just Saucony.

Ooo-la-la. These are most excellent shoes. Purchased black pair for winter. The grip is great for light snow or icy conditions. There are thin reflector stripes curving around the shoe that is not visible until tilted in light. A nice touch and a plus in my book. Also confess, loved them so much bought another pair in white for summer. ;-)

I normally wear a Saucony running shoe for everything. I got tired of trying to find running shoes that looked good, and they're impossible to clean up once they get dirty. I thought these looked like a good alternative for wearing to work. Unfortunately they're not nearly as comfortable as a running shoe -- they feel stiff and clunky and they are uncomfortable around the top of the shoe no matter how I tie them. They're still wearable in spite of that, but I wouldn't buy them again.

I have worn Saucony sneakers for several years. They are extremely comfortable, provide real foot support and are very well made. A few times I have purchased other brands, but always come back to Saucony.
I'd also recommend: none

Loved this shoe's fit, support and cushioning. Much more toe room than the Saucony Integrid ST in the same 12M. It's flattering too, for a sport shoe and has good arch support. It also has the extra lacing eyelet at the front of the ankle for a snugger heel fit.
I'd also recommend: New Balance
