I purchased these shoes since they advertised a neutral arch and designed to fit orthotics. I was skeptical, needlessly so. The shock insoles that come in the shoes easily slip out and my prescribed orthotics snapped right in, fitting perfectly! The netting of the shoes allows room for toes and bunions without compromising the stability of the shoe. I am power walking father than ever because I have complete comfort and support. I intend to purchase another pair for everyday use, in addition to my pair for the gym. Saucony's did seem a bit narrow, so I ordered the wide and they fit fine, especially for a padded sock.
Brands I'd also recommend: Skechers, New Balance

I have very wide feet with normal arch and high instep, but no pronating or supinating at all. The toe box is roomy enough for my feet and comfy, overall.

Finally! Someone out there was thinking! I can finally fit my custom (heavy-duty) orthotics into this sneaker without problems. It is cushy, good padding underfoot, and comfortable but without much other support of its own so it's perfect for sliding in your own orthotics - love it!

Perfect shoe right out of box. I have both arthritis on the tops of my feet and bunions, making it very difficult to find a good pair of shoes. I usually wear Brooks Addiction Walkers, but wanted to try something else. These shoes are better than Brooks. Very light weight, Wide Open Mesh area for bunions, lot of cushioning and arch support. They also look good and not like old lady shoes. Thank you Zappos for everything.
Brands I'd also recommend: Brooks Addiction Walkers

If you have flat feet and with neutral pronation, this is the shoe to get. After spending months trying and retrying shoes to fit my needs, the Saucony ProGrid Echelon 2 is it. The shoes are not bulky; very lightweight. Very comfortable shoes for running errands, walking, exercising, running, anything really. I wish I could have found these shoes sooner, but am so grateful to have found them. Also very grateful to Zappos for providing such excellent service.
Brands I'd also recommend: Ryka, Saucony

I've been trying to find a good sturdy walking shoe with excellent arch supports, to also help my big toe which is sore all of the time! (Something going on with the joint.) This shoe is helping but the arch is not as high as I would like and the shoe is more glittery looking than the picture. These are functional and OK but for the price, I am somewhat disappointed. They came highly recommended so maybe I had my hopes up too high.

I bought these over the summer in June. I ran up to 680 miles in them and only them. I was training for an ultra marathon. I don't change my shoes at 500 miles and I don't use two pair. I change when I know I need to. (This works for me.) Part way through the summer I got another pair because they did so well. But I'm 5'2 at 105pds. I'm small built light on my feet. I can't say how they will do with a bigger person.

I love these shoes! The toe box is big enough for an assortment of foot annoyances and hot weather. The arch support is excellent. Best of all the heel is just a tad narrower than most which is just what my foot needs, so no messing with cushions that are never just right. This is my second pair, I buy them even when they occasionally use trim colors that are hard to wear!

I love this shoe! It was perfectly comfortable the first time I put it on. I have been an Asics wearer for years but wanted to try something different. This shoe was a great choice, and I will certainly buy another pair in the future.

This is the second pair of Saucony Echelon shoes I have purchased. They are so comfortable and provide great support. I use them mainly for walking, on sidewalks and the beach. I highly recommend them.

If you a neutral movement in your foot (not much pronation or supination), this is a great shoe. It's comfortable from the minute you put them on and start running or walking (as a running shoe should be!). I've used an older pair of these for some low to moderate hiking and found that I did have to watch my footing a bit. But that's not what these were made for. Whether on the treadmill, elliptical or out pounding the pavement, these always seem to just work. Do note that the upper is entirely mesh. So, in the winter months I wear a heavier sock to keep my toes warm, and in the rain, the toes sometimes get a bit wet.

These shoes are heavenly! I've tried numerous pairs, including Brooks and other Saucony, but these take the cake. They are very cushiony and almost feel like they propel you forward. It's like walking on little clouds. They're worth the money and of course Zappos is fabulous!

I've had 3 back surgeries and thought it was not possible to walk/run in comfort...these shoes have made a huge difference! I recommended these shoes to my mother who also has back issues and she bought them and loves them!

I wear these mainly to the gym for workouts and on the elliptical or treadmill. I wear a C width and these ran about half a size larger but are decent. They would look better with grey laces so I changed them. They provide good cushioning and support. I am liking Saucony better than Asics.

Love this shoe! Fit great right out of the box. Accommodates my wide foot. Saucony tends to run wide in the toe box which is perfect for me. I normally order a WW, but W in Saucony is fine. Trying to get back into running, and this shoe will be great!
