I recently purchased these in a size 8.5 Narrow. They are awesome! I've been having some really debilitating shin splint pain for the last two or three weeks at the gym and switching from my Nike Free Runs to the Saucony Guide 7 has pretty much solved the problem! I agree with some of the other reviewers who suggested ordering a size up from your normal size. I usually wear a size 8, but I ordered the 8.5 after seeing that these shoes run small in the toe area. The 8.5's are perfect, so if you're ordering these online make sure you order at least a half size larger than you normally would. When I first found these shoes on Zappos I was a little worried about switching from my Nike Free Runs to what looked like a "Bulkier" shoe. Don't let that stop you from purchasing these shoes if you're having doubts! They are actually incredibly lightweight and comfortable to jog in. I think it took me about 10-15 minutes of jogging to get used to the different feel of the shoes and break them in a bit and it's been smooth sailing ever since!

Some of the previous reviews mention that this running shoe may be a little snug; I did not find that to be the case at all. I always wear a size 9, and the size 9 in these shoes fit perfectly, not too snug and not too loose. These running shoes have a lot of room in the toe box, which I like. I switched over from the Kinvara because I wanted something with just a touch more stability that wouldn't wear quite as quickly.. I definitely made the right decision.

With a bad knee and bruised Achilles' tendon, these helped reduce my pain significantly. They are now my every-other-day work shoes (I'm a school librarian) as well as my work-around-the-yard shoes. Got them from the Running Store in Portland, Maine where they took my needs into consideration for fitting and best shoe for me. They also recommended Brooks GTS which I wear every other day also. Just wish they made colors that would be fashionable with skirts and dresses! These are wild colors for professional attire.

I'd also recommend: Brooks

First let me say Zappos is awesome they are my go to place for shoes! I have been through nearly every line of tennis shoes, I am 50 years old with terrible feet, I have plantar fasciitis and mortons neuroma tumors. About 6 months ago underwent the alcohol injections for the neuromas couldn't find shoes that were comfortable need to have wide toe box. Ordered the Saucony ride 6 which are very comfortable for both conditions, However, I work in a hospital and wanted something with more white. Enter the Saucony guide 7 ordered a pair in my normal size of Saucony and OMG! What a wonderful relief These shoes are fantastic the cushioning in the ball of the foot is unsurpassed! While I don't run I do a lot of walking and feel if I did run these would be the shoes to do it in. Also the guidance is great for my mild pronation. Order a pair and you won't be disappointed the only thing I lost was pain. Another winner from Saucony.

I'd also recommend: none

These shoes are extremely comfortable and have tons of padding under the foot. The soles are quite stiff which is excellent for those of us with arthritis in the joints of the big toe and metatarsal pain. I wear these shoes for spinning and the sole is firm and thick enough that there is no discomfort when standing. I highly recommend these shoes. As usual, Zappos service is fantastic. Fast delivery, great selection ( especially when you wear a large size!) and prompt refunds. I love Zappos!
