This is my first time going from a supportive shoe to the transition level before eventually going to a minimalist shoe. I am still breaking them in, but they feel great. As many others have commented, you may want to play it safe and get a 1/2 size larger. Overall very happy with the purchase!

Amazing. Simply put, these are extremely light shoes that provide the support that the larger shoes do. I use them for the gym only, short distances (3-5 miles), and I couldn't be happier. Throw in the fact that I am a very large guy (6'8", 270) who has had no physical issues with this minimalist shoe (I was scared) and you have a home run. I have put over 100 miles on them already and there are almost no signs of wear. I have found my go-to gym shoe for life unless they quit making them.
I'd also recommend: Mizuno, Brooks

Great minimalist shoe! I know these shoes are meant for shorter races being a racing flat but I've been running in minimalist shoes for awhile now and I have developed strength in my feet over that time. With that being said I've run long in these shoes (Half-IM race and two 20 mile training runs) without any negative effects. I also plan to use these in my upcoming Ironman event. What I like most about these shoes, however, is the holes on the bottom. I am a heavy sweater and these holes, along with the mesh uppers, allow excess water to shed and my shoes don't weigh an extra 5 pounds each at the end of a run/event. They do run a full size small so order up.

I got the shoe thinking that I really didn't want to do cross country for my high school team this year, but still most interested in track. I wore these shoes, broke them in quickly, and started doing very well, and I love how these shoes are so lightweight! Lightest shoe I have ever worn. I probably should have invested in a distance shoe, but these shoes work great for the workouts, except that they really aren't meant to last long if you have them. Now I'm doing XC with my team and getting Personal bests, racing in these shoes. Also everybody loves the style of these shoes, it just is a great looking shoe. I will definitely get another shoe coming indoor track season.
