I'm a tall man, athletic, with a size 14 foot. I've had my feet professionally sized and my feet are not "wide" per se, just big. Somehow though, to many manufacturers seem to be producing larger size footwear only in dimensions fit for those with actually "narrow" feet. Not Saucony. I was impressed. After trying some very nice-looking Nike and Puma runners, all of which had to be returned because I couldn't get my toes past the instep, I decided to give these a go. I ran for years in New Balance and Reebok but this year, even though I don't consider style too important when running, I felt the runners NB had in my size were not even style-neutral, just ugly. Personal taste thing, I know, but I thought you should know. Reebok had the opposite problem. The straight pavement runners I saw looked too nice to run in so I'm about to buy a couple just to wear around the city until it gets cold again. Now, back to these. Super comfy out of the box! Enough support for a tall, heavy Judoka who runs for stamina-building and they look like proper running shoes. I will not be tempted to wear them with jeans or anything so they should last but also don't look like granddad's trail-walkers (I'm looking at you, New Balance). Go (fast) with these, my friends. They'll love your feet!
I'd also recommend: Reebok, New Balance

This is my third pair of Saucony running shoes, and I will never buy another brand for this purpose. Best running shoes I've ever had.

I love Saucony brand shoes. I had not worn this particular model before, but it is amazing! I love this shoe. Perfect cushion, fit, support. Could not find in the local store, so I tried Zappos on recommendation of a friend. Very happy I did. Currently stationed in Afghanistan, but the shoes still arrived in less than week. Buy with confidence.

Overall I love the shoe, it's loose near the toes and snug near the ankle. I think I can fix this by adjusting the laces. Style wise it looks much better on the webpage than in reality; but since they are performing on my runs I am not complaining about the styling...
