To anyone who is wondering about the difference between the Fraid Not's and Fraid So's: Basically, the only difference is that Fraid So's are a bit heavier, along with having less comfort on the footbed. I also felt that the straps were a little tighter than the Fraid Not's, but it just might be unavoidable manufacturing differences. Overall, I think it's no different than Fraid Not's. The Fraid Not's are more comfy, but I just love the multi design of Fraid So's.

Comfy cozy right out of the box! Originally bought these in a 9 but they felt a bit snug. Returned (awesome awesome service) and replaced with a 10. These things are amazing right out of the box. Really really comfortable. Better than my Reefs but they're nice too! Zappos rocks the house again and again!
Brands I'd also recommend: for sandals these are awesome

I had a pair of Fraid Nots for a year and a half until I blew out the stap (abusing them). My complaint with the Fraid Nots was that the stap was too loose - it required some effot to keep them on my feet at times. After reading a review here I decided to give the Fraid Sos a try - the strap fits much better and the sandals are more secure on my feet. My only complaint with the Fraid Sos is that they have an indented logo right under the heel, which is a bit irritating and detracts from the great soft feel of the sole covering. I\'m hoping that with time the indent wears down and I can\'t feel it. \r\n\r\nOther than that the only comment I have is that they run a bit small - I\'m usually a 9 1/2 and the 10s are within a centimeter of being too small. Also, the Fraid Sos are slightly heavier than the Fraid Nots, but not enough for me to tell the difference. \r\n\r\nLove the look and feel!

My son loves these. He usually doesn\'t like something between his toes but these don\'t bother him at all. These are his 3rd pair of sanuks and hes loves them. Plus sanuks are so reasonably priced. He still has his from 2 years ago

I first saw these flops in a gift shop in Austin, TX but they didn't have my size. When I got back home I found them online at Zappos. I hadn't ever dealt with Zappos before and was pleasantly surprised by their prices, in stock availability and "no shipping cost". Oh, and the flip flops rule, but I knew that before I purchased them. They're soft, comfortable and easy on the toes. I will definitely shop at Zappos again.

Zappos makes the whole shopping process a pleasure. Upon getting my purchase I realized that I needed a different size. The return process couldn\'t have been easier. They even paid for the product to be shipped back, all the while keeping in contact as to the status of the return. I would recommend Zappos to all as a great place to shop.

These are hands down the most comfortable flip flops I've ever had. Every part that contacts your skin is soft and they are well cushioned and very light, yet seem to be very sturdy. They also provide great support. The only potential problem I see is with the soft top (the part that contacts the sole of your feet). I don't know what material it is (seems high quality, maybe soft leather? - has the appearance and feel of suede). I've had other flip flops with similar soft topping and I've always ended up working a hole in the material with my toes. With other flip flops, I think it was caused by the topping being a bit loose (i.e., not 100% secured to the shoe), which causes friction when you walk, thus eating holes through the topping. The topping on these is completely immovable and I believe it will prevent holes from wearing through the material. Also, as I said, whatever the material is seems to be very strong. So far, I've worn these about 2/3 of the days for the last 2 months, with a considerable amount of walking, and everything is perfect with no signs they will give out any time soon. If they wear out, I will update my review. Oh, and they look great with almost any outfit (at least for casual Southern California).

I bought a pair of Sanuk Fraid So sandals from Zappos and they are awesome! By far the most comfortable sandal I own! I also have three other pairs of Sanuks in "shoe sandal" styles and I swear by them also. They do run about a full size smaller than normal so you may want to order one size up. I do want to give Zappos Customer Service Center huge kudos. My Fraid So sandals were a size too small so I called them up and they said no problem to either a refund or exchange. I asked for an exchange and within 24 hours had my new pair! The service rep was awesome and this is what I call "World Class Customer Service"! Zappos you have a customer for life!

Just got these yesterday. Great sandal. I had the O'Neill Groundswell Sandals for a couple years and they were great. Very comfortable, but a little loose. Perfect for Florida style though. The Sanuk Fraid So's feel much more sturdy without being bulky whatsoever and are super comfortable. They do seem to run a little small but they fit snugly around my foot which is nice. Highly recommended!
Brands I'd also recommend: O\'Neill Groundswell Sandal

Love these. I wasn\'t sure I was going to like them when I first put them on, but after wearing them on and off for a few weeks now my foot has started to create an imprint in them and they are very comfortable.

Comfortable, handsome, and sturdy. The stitching on the thong was annoying when new, but either because I got the sandals wet or with being broken in, I don't notice it now. The feel of the top of the sandal was really nice when new, but now that they're broken in, they're not as soft as I remember. But I'm still a huge fan. Decent traction on the sole, but not the best for walking over wet boulders at the beach. ;) Great price and I would definitely buy these again.

Best sandals I have bought to date -- and I buy a lot of sandals. The strap is strong, yet soft, the footbed is unbelievably comfortable. I've been wearing them every day for about a month now, and see no sign of wear, or any less cushion in the footbed.

Probably the best pair of flip-flops I've ever had the joy of slipping onto my feet. The Sanuk Fraid So flip-flops are durably built and easy on the feet. I'm used to spending a bit more on Rainbow Sandals. I originally thought you couldn't beat those sandals. On a whim, I purchased the Sanuk flip-flops and don't think I'll ever buy another brand. They're customer service is top notch (as is Zappos') and their products are made out a pure knowledge of footwear. Great stuff.

These chanklas feel great! I wear a 10.5 in regular shoes and the 11s fit me right on. The flips I bought measured 11.5ish inches long. The straps feel custom fit to my feet! I would definitely buy them again.
